Just heard this song on Spotify radio and instantly loved it. and it's from an album called Mermaid Avenue!

The raspiness is definitely a stylistic choice. She sound so young and smooth on the verses of this song In the current pop space where mumbling and emotionless whispery delivery is the trend she stands out so much as an incredible vocalist. This cover is just incredible

I subconsciously sing the "Wait.. wait for me" intro to I Was In A Bad Way over the outro to Flipside any time I listen to it

I'm assuming it was simply a comp sent by the designer to demonstrate their idea for the artwork It's now clear that this was the inspiration behind the typography on the cover

I cannot believe this album is only one year old. Normally whenever x album anniversary rolls around I feel like wtf how has so much time passed? And I don't even think it's down to the additional year in between the first song being realesed and the teasing of other tracks before the eventual album release because I never listened to all those clips she shared. I think it's because it still sounds so fresh and to me the songs still have the same impact as they did on the first listen because the amount of vulnerability and honesty in them is so genuine and sincere and the sound is so nonconforming with any trends that it will always sound timelsss. Undoubtedly her best effort and my favourite album of hers. Favourite song: Love song / Venice Bitch Least favourite / the only song I don't really care for: The Next Best American Record

The Stevie Nicks influence that is so present on the song and the fact she's name dropped her in a few press interviews plus the screenshot of Wild Heart she shared make me excited. Imagine is Angels Like You became an even bigger 80s power ballad moment

The song is one the instantly clicks on first listen. smash and the video is so sleek, I love all the pics that have been released from it too. @allaccessmc on twitter is a source people seem to be placing stock in and they say the album isn't even planned at the moment, they're focussing on singles and it will be out next year.

Nicole is a sweetheart and loves Lana and her fans' enthusiasm for their past work, but I doubt they will ever link up again I don't think her post means anything. If anything fans should @ ben and ed in the comments so they can see the demand!!

However Chuck is the photographer of the shoot they are working on.
