I wrote this album off too soon. Speak Now was her last album I liked. There are 8 really fucking good songs on folklore the rest are filler my tears ricochet mirrorball seven august this is my trying invisible string mad woman peace

I was only reminded they released an album last year when Shine A Little Light came up again on shuffle. "Let's Rock" was truly such a disappointment. I still listen to Turn Blue very regularly. It's so fucking solid, one of my favourite albums ever and definitely Ultraviolence's brother.

I absolutely loved this. It's something we haven't seen the likes of from her in years, I am so looking forward to Charlie being involved with this album cycle. 3:40 onwards has to be possibly my favourite clip of her ever. It feels like it is legitimately from 1989-92. The decor, her styling, her mannerisms - it is magic.
