    Jessie Ware

I've listened to like 2 Jessie Ware songs before and she has never been on my radar. Save a Kiss had been in my subconscious from hearing it on the radio but only now am I replaying it over and over and the album didn't really land with me on first listen but now... whew. Everything sounds so purposeful and considered like every element was laboured over but it also feels effortless and instantly recognisable as if these songs have truly been around since the 80s and not just inspired by that era.
  2. Could this be about Josh Kemp? Is he religious? The third verse sounds a lot like how she described the inspiration of Video Games being about giving up her career aspirations and settling for a simple life in a bunch of interviews We had a deal and I fucked it up when I made the decision to become someone We had the one thing That no one never had True love It's true love

    Miley Cyrus

Audio of her rehearsing a NEW song that isn't one of the leaks https://twitter.com/mileysbae/status/1289999947144687617 I just know this album is gonna be worth the wait.
  4. The way this is a direct reference to PIN UP GALORE of all songs Dance at night back in Alabama, Christmas lights on my teal green trailer I go back to Alabama, take a look at my life Where are the trailer parks and where are all the Christmas lights?
  5. This video was really cool
  6. This is really good? Charlie over Chuck! I won't be mad if this is a sign of what's to come
  7. It's so funny how the slight inconvenience of this not being on Spotify leaves me with absolutely no desire to listen to it again (I've only listened once).
  8. I don't like her music and she can't sing but I'm fine with this. Sure it will be better than the worst song of all time featuring the worst artist of all time God Save Our Young Blood. Maybe Neil will even photograph them together? Just googled WTF she's 25 so young. I thought she was like 33 just slightly younger than Lana
  9. It's okay lol. Not to beat a dead horse but when Lana names artists in a post basically saying she should have had more commercial success than she has and 90% of them are black and then she posts work of other artists to amplify their new projects and they are all white... She needs to consciously think about what she is doing
  10. I thought the 3x laughing faces would have conveyed the sarcasm well enough

    Dua Lipa

I mean it's understandable 1. They are unreleased for a reason 2. She was extremely young and finding a sound 3. Not paired with great writers or producers as she was a random teenage nobody
  12. If u go to her profile she says she has new mixes of songs. Lana is just checking in on the people she brought on tour I guess and sharing their news Using her platform to amplify diverse voices!!
  13. Lissie love This will mean a lot to her. It's so cool because Catching a Tiger is one of my favourite albums ever and she has just released an unreleased track from the sessions for the 10th anniversary. Let's hope the idea will implant in Lana's head!

    Dua Lipa

All of her unreleased songs are actually very very bad. I just heard Jealousy on youtube and that is a good one
  15. I made this super quick Background link: https://i.imgur.com/rVEhtYm.jpg Logo link: https://i.imgur.com/toraeNb.png
  16. Every move she continues to make sets her farther apart from her contemporaries. Who else could pull this off?
  17. I'm imagining walking along that marina and seeing a sign up sheet or something with the name Elizabeth Grant on. I'd suddenly be interested in learning to sail!
  18. A book tour for this would have been cool and I could imagine she would have actually been down for it as it would feed into her ego of establishing her as a stand alone writer/poet as opposed to a musician. A shame it can't happen in the current climate. Hopefully she will for Behind the Iron Gates! It would be cool if she went full throttle super hipster and did some readings in coffee shops in San Francisco or something too
  19. Georgia O'Keeffe namecheck adds weight to my theory about her being a springboard of inspiration for The Next Best American Record
  20. Alternate ending I'm yours if you'll have me Quietly or loudly Sincerely, your daughter and regardless you are mine
  21. Not us even having alternate recordings of her poems now The ending is different!
  22. I just finished my first listen. How did she manage to make "That I will later turn into stew" sound like one of the most dramatic endings ever? This was so insightful and interesting and there are so many things to read further into upon repeat listens. I really did not expect Patty to be ALL OVER this I loved the repeated themes here and there that made it into songs on NFR! The first thing I did when I finished listening was play Past The Bushes Cypress Thriving as an interlude to How To Disappear To think about what else will be revealed in the published poems that weren't recorded
