  1. Come on, the only valid criticism here is hosting a party during a pandemic which honestly who cares at this point You guys always want her depressed but she has always said she writes the best when she is happy! And NFR! is her best album imo so her environment seems to have a positive impact on her. In no position to judge her friend group unless there is evidence they are shitty people. Plus a lot of people were showing concern for her mental state with all the instagram posts last month so is this not positive to see?
  2. Would 2009 era Lizzy Grant have an OnlyFans page? Discuss
  3. Leon has been one of my favourite artists for the past 3 years. I have his new song he dropped today on repeat. So fucking moving and timely. John Mayer is also one of my favourite artists and I had been waiting on the collab for like 2 years ever since they started hanging out... and it was so bad. Like this corny infantile stuff John sometimes veers into... You're 42. Reminds me of Justin Bieber and Yummy. Anyway Sweeter is such a return to form. He's been teasing so much music regularly on IG stories the past 12 months and it has sounded promising but all just off the cuff guitar stuff so I never bothered to record any of it. Hopefully album 3 is out this year!

    Miley Cyrus

seriously still one of my favourite songs from last year. it gives me such The Verve vibes. so late 90s/early 00s nostalgia but kind of fresh too
  5. This song just came on shuffle for me and I came to this thread to comment exactly this
  6. Okay disregarding the platitude of I got u when history has proven she hasn't, it is actually good of her to voice her support for rioting as this is the main point racists are clinging on to to discredit the protests, especially after the looting video could have been interpreted as her being against it. Growth?
  7. Of course it will now be the argument of why are you posting protestors faces!!! When in reality these images are being plastered everywhere online it's so trivial - this is nowhere near the same level of the looting video. If anyone is insistent on hating her still they have just made her a symbol of being against the movement in their heads and use her as a target to direct their anger. She isn't going to build any of the bridges she has burned but I am not going to begrudge someone for the sake of proving a point, I don't see the sense in it.
  8. I don't see the use in continuing to berate her after she realised what she did was wrong and corrected it. We know she is very hardheaded because she didn't back down with her statements regarding women in music, but she did act on this. Peoples time and energy could be concentrated in far better causes than continuing to attack Lana.
  9. Okay now her story posts paint a different picture entirely. Good.
  10. She deleted and reposted the cover video. Thank god she isn't being stubborn at least?
  11. or alternatively just gain one iota of common sense
  12. Her story now can easily be interpreted as blaming the protestors for the violence. This isn't even worth our energy.
  13. Look everything is a choice. Lana has been consistently been making very ignorant choices. Even here instead of showing videos of peaceful protests or violence and brute force by the police - of which there are countless examples online - she has posted 1. a video of a burnout cop car (which people speculate to have been a prop used to incite rage on the right), 2. a photo op of her friends posing at a protest where she has tagged them which reeks of privilege because black protesters are going to great lengths to reduce their digital footprint and protect their identity because they fear for their wellbeing AND 3. a video of people looting. I do not wish to "cancel" her but she is giving many many valid reasons for people to criticise her.
  14. She was there on the ground which is more than a lot of the online detractors can probably say for themselves. Unfortunately it probably wasn't the best idea to post a really long static of video of people looting where you can actually make out some of their faces. The irony is if she didn't post this we wouldn't have known she was there and she would have be condemned for that. When in reality showing up is doing more than sharing something like so many other celebrities are doing. I don't doubt she has donated to bail funds either but again unless she publicly posts it - which would be self-serving - she would be condemned. Yes it's a long way from condemning racist and violent police but she was literally dating one I'm not expecting her to be as great as she should be which in itself is a privledge. This is far bigger than her and now she hasn't remained silent. So...
  15. Finished listening to the album. I think it accomplished exactly what it set out to do, I think it's a real tribute to all of its references. I think the whole europop vibe is too much for me to handle in one dose as it is all very saccharine for my taste but I don't think it is bad because of it, I just can't imagine listening to much of this again, especially outside of the context of the album. I honestly think it's quite impressive but it's just not to my taste. I like the club classics and dance staples from the 90s and they are mostly just singles from random one hit wonders so Chromatica is the first time I've listened to an entire album by one artist like that and it is very cohesive. Alice is the total standout, the only track I could listen to on its own and on repeat, it is so good. Sour Candy would be really good without blackpink, I wish she sang the hook. The spoken word part on Sour Candy is a highlight of the album imo. Plastic Doll chorus is a pretty guilty pleasure though the verse lyrics are definitely too hyper-pop for me. The outro to Sine From Above is more to more liking, it would have been really interesting had she dipped into some drum and bass or even UK garage. Pretty sure I'll like 1000 Doves piano version when it's out.
  16. The photos from this shoot are so good. Will listen to the album on Spotify tomorrow
  17. Imagine if GagaOopsy returns on release day. Would make every other 2020 event seem tame.
  18. It will be so legendary if she drops a webcam video with blonde hair I can't stop thinking about it
  19. Whew creative marketing!
  20. I have high hopes for this album, the lyrics recited in the zane lowe interview were surprisingly strong, I don't know why my expectations were at rock bottom when I actually enjoyed Joanne and thought A Star Is Born soundtrack was a classic and think Rain On Me is a banger. I hope the album is full of some real dance/house bangers that stand the test of time.
  21. No more Chuck Grant album covers Society has progressed past the need for Chuck Grant album covers We need a photographer who will actually release more than 2 images from the shoot!!!!!
  22. This title calls for a Slim Aarons style album cover with chemtrails in the sky...
  23. The nobody.. nobody in the end of the video remind me so much of the ending of Smarty.
  24. Lana really said "Call me angel"
