I put this in the other thread but realise it's a lot more appropriate here: This is heavily reminding me of her W magazine interview from 2023, when there was a "as yet untitled album" and she just gave a vibe update, talking about her process with the automatic singing. And we thought it would be a whole album of voice notes but it turned into a whole grand opus. So im really excited about this vibe update, the fact that it's unfolding as we speak is very exciting. I don't mind waiting if it means we'll get an album that she can stand behind, cuz you know she'll put in the effort for us in return with visuals and stuff

My only conclusion about her being in her feelings over this is that there must be tension behind the scenes with this album. Something ruffled her feathers with the industry going more country, she has said multiple times she predicted it, does she feel like people would think she's being reductive now? Maybe her label pushed back on her ideas... maybe the album kept getting nipped and tucked and now she doesn't know what to do with it. Even Jack recently sounded kind of ambivalent about the album. Something bad definitely happened to make her try to convince people that nobody cheered for her announcement. She feels frustrated and wants us on her side?

This is why u should avoid lying or exaggerating it always comes back to you. I had a friend in school who was a pathological liar, would blatantly just lie and make up stories or embellish tf out of them and it was very off putting. Even tho ocean blvd is my favourite Lana album, I think as an album AKA is her only truly perfect album . Like there's not a hair out of place on that album, the vibe was nailed, as a complete work of art I can't fault it. Whereas I can fault ocean blvd, it still speaks to my soul the most tho
