ok tbh i'm gonna go into this era w a more positive outlook. as much as i dislike jack's production, he did give us some good songs. i just don't want another acoustic sounding album. if it's gonna be nfr 3.0, they can keep it. it would be like if lana released 3 albums sounding like BTD, we'd all get sick of it and want a new sound. i'm just afraid she's gonna return to the same sound in nfr and cocc cuz jack doesn't have much range tbh. blue banisters gave me hope that shed be going in a new direction but now i'm not so sure. i hope jack proves me wrong. and i'll still love the album even if it is nfr 3.0 bc i've never hated a lana del rey record but i probs won't listen to it as much as i do BB, honeymoon, or UV. ok rant over!

i'm such a weird listener when it comes to mitski. i didn't get into her music till this year but for some reason, not every song clicks for me. but i do have some faves on each album. and, that being said, it's not like the songs i don't really listen to are bad songs, i just have a hard time getting into them as much as some as her highlights. it's so weird. i wanna enjoy all her songs equally. my faves: working for the knife, heat lightning, geyser, a pearl, me & my husband, nobody, washing machine heart, happy, i bet on losing dogs, crack baby, first love/late spring, strawberry blonde, and the entirety of lush

LDR9 should be her lanita del rey album. with some spanish lyrics and very sexy. also reminiscent of the sound of florida kilos.

the way we got two albums last year and we still want more. i love being a lana stan.
