Tour update from the band i'm sobbing and puking (in a bad way) bc my show was postponed. i was supposed to see them next week w my boyfriend. :,(

chem is pretty underrated and underappreciated. there are some real highlights like white dress, wah, and yosemite. i'll have to admit, i've not gave her love as much as i should. and i tend to skip the collabs but it's such a cohesive and sweet record. and it gave us one of her best music videos w the title track. plus the pre-release era was iconic and fun with you all.

thank you! is jack's work fucking terrible? no. he has some really good songs and has done some great things (like chem and melodrama). but lately, everything sounds recycled between different artists and it's so tiring. that being said, i have never disliked a lana song and i don't think i ever will. but i definitely don't replay NFR and Chem as much as her other albums. we need a new sound from miss lanita and jack doesn't seem to know how to do that lately.

i want something natural but gorgeous for the album cover. something in the vein of this insta collage. like lana lounging on a vintage, floral couch in a trailer park w the lanita bracelet on. almost like a homage to her lizzie days. trashy yet beautiful. ((and ofc shot on film by neil krug))

the way i haven't listened to violet for AWHILE.. i gotta give her some love again something poetic & string-filled for ldr9 would be sweet

actually... okay if jack could produce something similar to the instrumentals he did for violet and use it for ldr9, i wouldn't be mad. those tracks were beautiful.

i really thot we were getting some more stunning sweet carolina tracks after rob's post the other day but seeing that jack is involved too, my hope is shattered into a million pieces..

blue banisters was a fucking amazing album... why can't she continue w that masterpiece for LDR9... we lost if it's another NFR/Chem 2.0. i respectfully love those albums in their own ways but they're just not as good as her other records. ban jack now.

that's interesting! i'm a huge fan tbh. i've been since like 2018 i'd say. their music deff is unique, so it's not for everyone! heat above is such an amazing song!! it's also one of my faves lately. :,)

i cant believe it's almost been a week since i saw marina.. i'm so sad. i could care less about the lack of set design compared to previous tours b/c the setlist was so good and her performance is off the charts. marina really knows how to engage a crowd. she's just so stunning. plus i got front & center barricade so i was LIVING. some of my fave pics i took below:

the energy is weird in here today anyways i will forever love marina. i think we fail to understand that shes human, and the girl has been a victim to every "marina's poor/broke/etc" joke for how long and still goes through that shit. of course, she's defensive. i don't blame her. i would get so fed up and frustrated w that shit if i were in her position. it's annoying and completely uncalled for. ok i said my peace. time to back into hiding.

the setlist is pretty much what i wanted! however i wish she'd add blue, mowglis, or hermit. but im curious to see if there are multiple set lists. i also think the set is a bit lackluster but there were images projected onto it so i guess it's cute. maybe she's going for a more mature feel? she is in her 30'a after all. otherwise, i'm really there for the music and experience and i'm just super excited to see her in a few weeks!! she's my 2nd fave artist below lana. i haven't seen her since 2015.

this is the album that made me a stan. ill never forget obsessing over summertime sadness when i first heard it over the radio. eventually i looked into her other songs & got hooked. even tho i don't listen to it as much any more, it's such a staple in her career. its even my dad's fave lana album.
