So this has been interesting me for a while: From 2007 to 2011, Charli was a VERY visual artist. She also had financial support, officially released singles plus an album (and she carried a camera around all the time). She toured with Frankmusik! She toured with Peaches! She performed at 3 festivals! And with an image like this: I'm just left to wonder: how did she have no music videos?! She literally didn't start making music videos until she started dating a director, and that still wasn't even until Nuclear Seasons, she never even got a video for her debut breakthrough single, Stay Away! It's just so confusing to me.

How was Tired of Singing the Blues not the first thing you thought of?

Caught up in a blizzard yesterday, Oughta be alone, or so I say I needed a change of scenery She was really starting to annoy me I went out shopping and Planned to go to all them vintage stores Then I got tired and Ended up in some lame department store And that's okay cause I found a really cool belt and I feel like I'm in high school again Never knew how much I missed until then And I'm happy for this day No matter what you say I don't have to be sad like you I have a commitment Friday night First I say my prayer, then I'm alright I sit in my chair, you dim the light When I look, I stare [within her sight] [with inner sight] [insert what ever lyric you hear here] I feel like I'm in high school again Never knew how much I missed until then And I'm happy for this day No matter what you say I don't have to be sad like you Met up with some friends for Thai food I liked it, but wasn't in the mood Can't you see that I'm just feelin' blue? What I do's got nothing to do with you I feel like I'm in high school again Never knew how much I missed until then And I'm happy for this day No matter what you say I don't have to be sad like you

Not even the most hardcore East London rave she went to can prepare her for a Brazilian crowd.
-
NOT KIDDING THO. A FAN GOT ON STAGE AND THIS IS HIM BEING DRAGGED AWAY BY SECURITY. SHE'S GONNA DIE
-
She's in Brazil. She finally answered the prayers of "charli plz cum 2 brazil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and now she's in Brazil. She's gonna die.

Friend, you cannot come into this thread, bring the artist in question's authenticity into question, and expect to get off scot-free. Also, let's take a look at what you said again. That's not really how facts or opinions work??????

I'm not even a huge Beyonce fan, but Haunted (Beyonce's) is some of the coolest production work I've ever heard, instant chills. I'd kill for his demo.

Superlove was written for her debut years ago, along with You're The One and I Love It. It's from a different Charli, tbh. She's said there was a demo of it that had the pure "pop" treatment, that it sounded like a Katy Perry song. So, she replaced the synths with guitars to escape that sound. He actually did! If you check his Wikipedia page, you see that he's produced loads of Snuffed By The Yakuza songs! (curiously, not Allergic to Love tho, but he produced Charli's cover of it.) Like she said, "from Stockholm to your ears", they just got a drum machine, some fuzzy riffs and got Charli to do her thing, first take. It actually sounds really similar to the original song.

I know we settled this like, 6 months ago, but still:

It's fun to sing Mess over this cover and pretend she released that, the beat is kinda the same.
-
And...it's okay. Not my fave, but it's kinda givin' me Myspace vibes, which is kinda like my fave. So, I think I love it?

Yeah, but that was when True Romance wasn't even an idea! She released Stay Away 2 years before it, and had she liked any of the songs she did in 2010 more enough to release them (like, say, Jungle) they would've been 3 years before! The first real single from True Romance was You (Ha Ha Ha), and that was only 3 months before the album! This is just unacceptable.

Glenn Close was in American Horror Story. Brooke Candy is an American horror story. Score: 2 (Don't even count this, I'm completely stumped)
