Honestly, this seems to be 100% intentional on Lana's part. She seems to love experimenting with vocal texture and clarity. I doubt we'll ever get an album with crystal clear vocals like Born to Die again, and I think that's how she likes it.

The only song from the leaks I want to hear a finished version of is Needle & Thread. That's a beautiful track. Dragon's Blood just sounds like an early version of Spider Web, and Garden's cute but I see why it got cut.

The album definitely feels more complete to me now. Super happy with it overall. (Of course we'll have to wait forever now to get the deluxe on vinyl.)

Powder's really good, actually? All the deluxe tracks are good. I think some of you hate just to hate sometimes. I think it's about her watching a boyfriend or friend lose themselves to drugs (powder). I'm happy she gave us a few more rock-leaning tracks!

Seeing all this praise for Sweet and Kintsugi is making my heart go . It's also been wild seeing Margaret get so much praise since the Needle Drop review came out. She was always that girl for me, but it seems to be a critic's favorite all of a sudden.

y'all, is A&W laced with CRACK? Ask me a month ago and I would have said I prefer the title track over it. But still, after hundreds of plays, once the album was released in full, the song blossomed even further for me and now I can't stop playing A&W on repeat, a month and a half after we first heard it. Truly the Venice Bitch of this album and a career highlight. Why does Lana's music do this for me? I'm obsessed.

True, but like .... Imagine if they actually tried. Like if Lana did a TV performance or radio interviews or music videos before the release. It's just so funny. She's so powerful and they don't even care.

The way I'm genuinely still so sad about how the "pink" vinyl turned out... I want Ocean Blvd on baby pink vinyl SO bad...
