Can we drop the “She was deleting comments” bullshit already? Literally the next day all your bullshit comments whining about nfr and whining about her deleting comments were there again. Even that one user who claimed she deleted the polite post and kept the rude one, both were there the next day. We confirmed it was a glitch ages ago. Now let’s drop it and find a more realistic conspiracy theory. Are you guys really too lazy to go back and check? This is exhausting. We shouldn’t have to cover this 100 times.

Isn’t everyone on social media? She can take a step back from the public and still use social media. Do you suggest she throws out all technology and locks herself in her house? Just because someone doesn’t care for being a celebrity anymore doesn’t mean they have to erase themselves from life. I mean, none of us are famous but I’m sure we all still go on social media often. If anything, she’s showing us even more that she’s being a regular person living their regular life. If you don’t like it though, you can unfollow her. You can even block her and it would be like she wasn’t on social media. I mean, it’s not mean to block her if you don’t wanna see her on social media, it’s not like you’re friends. Even then, it’s just social media, block anyone you want. It’ll bring you peace of mind if you can’t take her posting.

Most artists with long successful careers actually do just milk a few early hits forever lol. Most artists with longevity don’t top the charts forever. The ones who try are usually the ones who fall flat on their faces. Look at like Bowie or Springsteen or anyone. Their popular well known shit is mostly early stuff, sometimes a lucky later hit.

I think she’s just slowing down on her albums and trying to break away from the mainstream pop world. She may even be hoping it’ll tone down the excess and craziness of her fanbase. She seems to never stop writing and recording, so I think it would be too hard for her to give it up completely. Tbh the whole situation is pretty similar to Joni Mitchell when coming out with Summer Lawns. Fans thought the wait was too long and the sound was too different and the lyrical direction changed and they hated the album title and the album cover and how she avoided her fans. But it also gave her a newfound freedom once those fickle fans were gone.

This guy is probably just hoping if he pretends he has info, it’ll scare Lana and her team into sharing it first. Kinda convenient he cancelled the offers, probably because he received some money and had nothing real to share.

If that person is telling the truth, the info will make it here before the end of the week. I wouldn’t bother trying to pay for anything. Someone will give them money and either get info that’ll spread like wildfire or they’ll be full of regret for falling for it. It doesn’t need to be one of us, especially since it’s most likely a scam.

Tbh I think the vinyl will be purple. Not the opaque lilac of the second disc of UV, but a darker but brighter purple and probably translucent. Idk maybe that’s just what I’m hoping for. And I’m not sure we’ll even get another single before the album, but if we do I think it will be HIAB or the title track. She’s teased the most of HIAB over the longest period of time, but she’s teased NFR most recently and we’ve always gotten the title track (when there is one) before the album comes out. But I’d prefer no more singles since she really doesn’t need one. The whole world is already hyped enough. And for the cover, I’ll take anything and I have no idea what to expect. I kinda wanted a cover without Lana in it, like just scenery like the VB cover, but I also like the ideas of the cover being a painting of her. Or even a picture of her painting something. I just hope it’s not another picture of her standing in front of a car.

Wow y’all really see lots of concerts. I feel like I’ve seen almost none now. Here’s mine I guess: Alice Cooper (2004) Def Leppard (2005) Bryan Adams (2005) AFI, Joan Jett, etc. (warped tour 2006) —those were what I went for I went to the Summer Fest in my city a couple years in highschool and saw both Helix & Three Days Grace but I cant remember the years... maybe 2007 and 2009... not sure The Wiggles (lmao I had to mention it, I was with a kid obv, 2013) Blondie & Garbage, & Deap Vally (2017) The Def Leppard concert and the Garbage & Blondie concert were the best ones. Kinda bummed I’ve never seen Lana or Fleetwood Mac though.

The point was jokes like that cross a serious line and you need to get back in touch with reality if you think it’s funny to say someone’s worse than a murderer because they won’t give you what you want. Complain all you fucking want, who cares, but some of you really need to snap back to reality if you think jokes like that are okay in any setting.

Tbh the most I can see her doing is commenting on or liking someone else’s post about it. But it really is a relevant issue for her, especially if she ever wants to leave her label. Like isn’t that why she didn’t rerelease AKA, because she didn’t own it anymore? (I always assumed that was the issue since she re-recorded Yayo around the same time, sorry in advance if I’m wrong)

I was thinking about how the album would be coming in a couple months and idk if this theory makes sense but I think August 16th really could be it mainly because that weekend is the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. I know we come up with dates that are “meaningful” all the time but the 50th anniversary only happens once and it would be the best homage since her album seems to be kinda folky and psychedelic so far. And playing festivals all throughout the summer to lead up to the release would be the perfect lead up too. Idk maybe I’m just getting more delusional the closer we get.

I don’t think we should believe any rumours that come about in the next few days. It’s too suspicious right now. They’re probably all from stans looking for attention. But if the album is coming in about 2 months, we’ll know what’s true soon enough anyway.

That’s the main reason I don’t think they’ll release the same day. Even if Lana doesn’t care about charts, I doubt her label would risk it. Even a week after still seems risky if they want that number 1.

Lana’s been promoting the poetry book more than the album lately so I doubt the book will come out a month after the album. It’ll probably come out first or at the same time in a bundle. But I still hope the Taylor collab rumour is true (but hopefully not on NFR)

I kinda hope she didn’t keep adding more songs to the album after she said 13. 13 is a decent amount of songs. Plus Venice Bitch is already almost 10 minutes long and MAC and Hope aren’t super short either, so unless we get lots of really short songs too, the album will be more than long enough with 13 tracks. Yeah we’ve heard bits and pieces of lots of songs, but who cares? There’s plenty of albums I’ve checked out after knowing quite a few songs and it’s never ruined the cohesiveness or the listening experience.

I always imagined Venice Bitch closing of the first half (or the first disc on vinyl), but I think you just converted me to wanting it as a closer. It does have that final thought feeling now that you mention it.

Taylor/Lana collab has been a rumour for months. The Norman Rockwell thing was just more fuel to that flame. I mean it probably isn’t happening, but the rumour has been been around since last fall.

Especially if Taylor’s album really does have a Lana collab. Then Taylor’s album essentially becomes promo for Lana and Lana wouldn’t have to do anything, which is what she wants. And Lana doesn’t care about charts so maybe Taylor blocking her from number one is also what she wants.

I really hope she bundles the album and poetry book together. Imagine getting both in just a couple months. Even just the album though, I’m so excited to finally hold it in my hands and to hear Venice Bitch and Hope on vinyl, not to mention the snippets we’ll finally hear blossom into full songs. What a beautiful way to end summer. I still kinda hope she keeps the tracklist a secret til the album drops or at least changes the names of some teased songs so we can still be surprised.
