has anyone gotten the black vinyl yet from anywhere? i ordered it from vinyltap.co.uk and i got a shipping notification email this morning but i paid for tracking and it says tracking isn't available so i'm kinda wondering if maybe it hasn't actually shipped yet and the email was a mistake idk

yeah i really think most songs are about him or repurposed to be about him in the context of the album (like the old songs), but i do also think most songs also have the parallel between her relationship with sean and her relationship with the public and how both kind of exploded at the same time.

i still havent done a proper write up about this album yet, but i did have some quick thpughts so far on violets for roses. i do think it's about both a man and the public trying to change her, but one line that stood out for me was the "you tried to trade in my new truck for horses" which made me think of the chemtrails photoshoot. remember she posted that picture of herself on top of her truck but the only official picture we got of her in that outfit was the one with the horse. it made me wonder if maybe it was her managers who were trying to change her? maybe she wanted that as the album cover and they were like "no lets do it with horses, its classier" or something and maybe the official album cover was her rebelling like "whatever i'm not using that one either." but then that could just be a coincidence with the truck and horses.

lana putting leaked songs (supposedly) untouched on the album is her revenge for fans who won't listen to the pre-release singles but still binge all her leaked songs

yes, in canada. unfortunately there's no cd stores in my town and the record store didn't get the vinyls yet (but they said the release date for the vinyl is still set for today though, i called)

in their defense, every record store i had called this month had today listed as the release date, so actually many chains & independent record stores were specifically given today as the release date, why wouldn't they believe it? just last week i actually told the guy who owns the record shop in my town the correct date and he didn't believe me

i just realized chemtrails came out 8 months after violet and now blue banisters is coming out 7 months after chemtrails meaning we should expect another lana album in 6 months

only boys would expect a woman to pick out a different type of flower for every single album. women don't have time for that shit. we don't want to turn flowers into a chore, we want to enjoy them! strict guidelines are masculine and depressing and we reject it. every flower for every album! that's why lana's giving us violets and roses and wildflowers and cherry blossoms all together on this album! #stopsegregatingflowers

you say this literally every album, always after we've had the pre-order for awhile too. either you're trying to manifest her albums being scrapped (&after orders somehow lol) or you're dumb as bricks.
