Very excited for the iamamiwhoami remix! It'll be interesting to see what Joanna and Claes do with the song together. I'm hoping the prelude samples are a little more pronounced and obvious, and that they include the stuttery vocals from the start of the prelude somehow.

There's only 4 songs so far, so check them out! Chances are she might release another one between now and February before the album drops, but that's only a guess because it's a long time between now and then.

End of the Night is nice. I like the "heavenly lies" lyric, it reminds me of the I Never Learn outtake.
-
It's her best album. I could do without the 3 interludes - they don't really suit the album, and ruin the flow, and almost feel like an after thought to ensure the political message is served.

She's planning a tour from September 2018 for a year, it'll be some kind of festival involving Imogen and Frou Frou, plus other guests/events. She's currently asking fans to pre-register for "VIP/Enabler" tickets, and regular tickets will become available once it's organised.

The new album is ok, but I don't think it's as good as 1989 nor will it have the longevity of that record.
-
I know, it was just a silly remark based on the fact it's Jonna and Claes together. I was hoping a Royksopp collaboration might appear. She was a brilliant guest vocalist on their tour, so I hope they still have a chance to work together and do something in the future.

I don't imagine any of the other preludes will be reworked, unless she reuses the instrumentals somehow, but I don't think the remaining instrumentals really suit what she has released so far as they're all very ethereal and calm. I'm looking forward to the collaborations, as that's something she hasn't done before, although featuring Barbelle is basically like calling it an iamamiwhoami song lol.

So excited for Everyone Afraid To Be Forgotten, and Gone is so good! I imagine one of the collaborations might be Royksopp as she's been touring with them over the summer.
-
I know, it's so weird to have a release without a video! I wonder if she's going to release "Gone" without one, then release the rest of the album and visual together later on.
-
I've loved the one off songs she's released over the past couple of years - Tiny Human and Magic Me. She also has a song with Dan Black called We Drift On which is great. Looks like she's planning a tour for 2018.

New single "Gone" will be released Friday - here's a snippet people who've followed from the start will enjoy https://www.traxsource.com/track/4877790/gone

It's a shame about Yosemite, Architecture and Roses Bloom For You, but she seemed to suggest that they'll "find their place" again. Maybe she'll go back to them for the next record, or there'll be an EP.
-
How disappointing. I know it wasn't confirmed by Lana, but there were a lot of signs pointing to it being released, just like Coachella - Woodstock In My Mind. I understand why people are pissed, and those saying fans bring it on themselves by believing rumours are missing the point - the song was obviously ready to go at some point, otherwise the cover art wouldn't be available and sites like CD Universe wouldn't have had it listed.
-
Sounds great from what we can hear. Excited to hear it.
-
Rose Bloom For You sounds beautiful. I wish it was on the album.
-
I love the chorus of Off To The Races live, but she doesn't make much effort during the verses and gets lost in the mix. It might be the sound problems though.
-
18 tracks definitely makes waiting a little easier. The greedy fan in me hopes there will be digital and regional bonus tracks too, haha.
-
The sound on the broadcast wasn't the best, but she looked good and once the sound settled, she sounded great. I'm surprised she didn't do Love. If it had to be 5 songs I'd have taken out either Cruel World or Off To The Races and performed Love instead.

Search for it using "Lana Del Rey Lust For Life" and it'll come up. It's not on her artist page yet.

It'd be nicer if the border wasn't so thick, and "Lust for Life" was written on one line across the bottom, rather than being laid out similarly to the logo.

The Chapter 2 thing confuses me too, but I'm sure it'll make sense soon. I think she's going to go down a more traditional route with the release. She'll release one or two songs (out of order) first that will push the album then release all the videos upon release to complete the audiovisual element. Here's an interview about the album - she started working on the music 5 years ago, and first planned to release it after iamamiwhoami's Bounty. http://www.anothermag.com/design-living/9616/the-ethereal-new-musical-endeavour-from-jonna-lee
