  1. I personally find it odd that she sampled songs that were released/recorded like 2-3 years ago? Not sure if that's laziness/artistic laziness, or the result of working with more or less the same team for four albums in a row, but the album is just very sample heavy. My main complaint is that she completely botched the closing track and did the song a disservice. Like Venice Bitch on its own is a career highlight, but the remix just sounded cheap/corny to me. Taco Truck, even though it goes back to your comment about Lana heavily sampling in her own/past work on this record, started off amazing and could've been a remarkable song on its own, but the song has this mod podged feeling to it and not in a good way. In hindsight, all these insiders saying the album sounded fresh and like nothing we had heard before, well that was kind of a half-truth, as you can clearly hear a lot of her past work (and especially the recent one) in these new songs. The album is still good though.
  2. Taco Truck is hitting especially hard tonight, really wish she had made it its own song, it would've been a top 3 contender.

    Frank Ocean

I'm so invested in this drama, this is not a good look
  4. Why do people use filters when they take selfies with celebrities
  5. Ultraviolence Honeymoon Born to Die Ocean blvd. Blue Banisters Paradise Chemtrails AKA NFR Lust for Life
  6. I did not who Nick Waterhouse was prior to this album coming out, but he co-produced Candy Necklace and that's all I need to know.
  7. Manifesting the next album to be produced by Mike Hermosa, Zach Dawes, Nick Waterhouse and also Rick Nowels. It's time to part ways with Jack Antonoff, thank you for NFR, Chemtrails and A&W, but yeah we've heard the range. I'm ambivalent about the piano in her music, I think it can work and it did work very well on Candy Necklace, the vibe in this song is impeccable. I want more or that sound & the theatrics.
  8. This pre-release era already feels like a fever dream, the dramatics and meltdowns
  9. It's pretty obvious critics won't ever suck her artistic dick as much as they did for NFR.
  10. There will be daily tickets available sometime in April, but those will also quickly sell out. I'll keep you posted if you are interested.
  11. Well, thank God I bought a ticket, because all of 125k passes have sold out already.
  12. TREMBLER, PLEURER ET VOMIR I've been begging for this to happen for YEARS
  13. I have one T-Shirt and it's like the standard low tier type of fabric, the printed label faded after a few cycles in the washing maching--but the actual print on the t-shirt holds up well.
  14. The album is literally available across Canada, in the largest records store chain, go ahead and do what you think you gotta do
  15. Okay but do you want to do something that's against the rules of this very forum? If you want to call that gatekeeping, be my guest
