  1. The way the silly flashcard will end up in some janitor's lost and found bin
  2. Honeymouns somewhere at Eaton Centre like
  3. I just asked my bestie, who's in Mississauga, and she ain't moving. She's confident someone already fetched it.
  4. Really not a fan of her ASMR vocals as well, she got great production and can perform her ass off though
  5. They should've restocked the blue variant if anything, I already have it, but it's the cutest one from that era methinks. The lime variant cover is the biggest eyesore in her discography.
  6. Country icons methinks. Nikki seems like such a laid back gal, I love her.
  7. Lana's friendship with Nikki is iconique 🤠
  8. Another day, another example of why a single company that has complete monopoly over an entire industry is out to scam people, or facilitates scamming. TicketMaster needs to be split up.
  9. They allowed 8 tickets per purchase, they were out to get us anyway. TicketMaster was and will forever be a fucking scam.
  10. I think you're bringing up a very interesting example, but the thing is none of the Beatles' albums sound the same. They literally all sound different.
  11. That's been my point since the getgo though. I have literally never once brought up her lyricism or storytelling, or abilities as a storyteller. The only thing I have ever criticized from her artistic relationship with Jack is that her sound has hardly evolved since NFR. Almost all his tracks will feature a tinny piano melody, or tinny electronic beats, and/or muffled guitar, bass, percussions and vocals. People like what they like, I prefer a big, more detailed, production or a properly mixed/less muddy sound to these muffled tunes. I recognized several times that Jack has made career highlight songs with her, but I'm personally not impressed by most of his input, sorry not sorry. And newsflash, I love Ocean Blvd, but you can love an artist and not think everything they do is godsent. People are allowed to feel like, at least sonically, she's been serving réchauffé. This is not an echo chamber. Salut!
  12. Well love that for her actually, doesn't mean everything they do together is fire though. She hardly got out of her comfort zone on DYKTTATUB though, while I think it's one of her best and most beautiful album it was very much a medley of her past four projects (Violet included). It was done very well, but it's definitely not the boundary pushing project you're describing.
  13. I find it almost fascinating how some people on this website try to act high and mighty whenever Jack Antonoff is brought up. Like, until proven otherwise, she will be working with him for the foreseeable future... so we're kinda bound to talk about their artistic relationship in any way, shape or form?? There is nothing wrong with wanting Lana to venture out to her comfort zone. People have talked in length about how Lana has evolved, and is evolving as an artist and how important that is. But working with the same people for several album is hardly artistic growth. A little cognitive dissonance moment.
  14. This kind of commentary is camp considering she was literally in the studio with him yesterday.
  15. I truly don't know what's worse between that and working with the same mid producer ad nauseam since 2019.
  16. Honestly hope she is, her cover of Stand by Your Man is amazing, and I genuinely like when she's being a road dog with Nikki Lane.
  17. If that was really the case, she would be working on a country album just to spite
  18. Well agree to disagree, I'm just citing an example here (before anyone concludes that I want her to repeat that feat), I think that Born to Die is a perfect example of bombastic production. Not saying that the tracks you mentioned don't feature bombastic elements, I just think that it's not Jack's forte, or his way of doing it sounds a little too unpolished and unfinished.
