  1. The sheer rush when Lana comes down the stage and starts greeting us fans, that feeling is unlike anything
  2. Ultraviolence being one of her favourite albums IKTR
  3. Idk why some of yall are hating on country Lana or a potential country album--like she'd do it her way and it would slay honestly
  4. The only one I've seen so far that actually makes sense
  5. No I feel her, when you make something you're proud of, you want people to watch it. But it's the second time she comments on it. I don't think she's mad, but she might be a lil bitter.
  6. The footage in itself was cute, and she looked stunning, but her "vision" made it hard to watch honestly. Would've been infinitely better with a full "film noir" aesthetic from start to finish and the BTS sequence at the end. It just did not flow well storytelling wise. Also the "people have a short attention span" argument is a bit exaggerated, "Ride" is 10 minutes long, has an intro and an outro, but it has 150+ million views (and I understand that it was released 10 years ago), but that video is cohesive--Candy Necklace, while beautiful, is not. She also dropped the video at the most random time without any promotion whatsoever... I understand that promotion wise she's into the "less is more mindset", but her feeling upset, while valid, seems a bit misplaced. I guess this post is her idea of promoting.
  7. She looks very Martha's Vineyard summer, her little baby blue cardigan is so cute.
  8. The vibe was unmatched. I live in a continuous loop of this concert.
  9. Exactly, might look a bit chaotic at times, and it definitely works great with certain songs and perhaps not so great with others, but ultimately you're looking at Lana most of the time.
  10. I guess this also belongs in the Unpopular Opinions thread, but I think Lana needs the help on stage. She's quite static on stage and her hardcore stans might think it's cute, but I remember seeing her back in 2014 and 2015--she was practically singing eyes closed for an hour and 15 minutes. Having the singers and dancers on stage helps her come out of her shell and divert attention. I much prefer the current format than the ones of years past. I saw her two weeks ago and it definitely was the elevated performance. That being said, it does look a lil distressing during Video Games, but it's kinda camp, so idc.
  11. I swear some of y'all have this sort of virtual Stockholm syndrome with Jack Antonoff/Laura Sisk (and if I'm being an equal opportunity offender, even Rick Nowels), I get that they both have their respective appeal and they've both created their own legacy within the Lana fanbase--but there is a world outside of these two producers. It's time for a change.
  12. We won't know for sure until that happens. Let's and try and see.
  13. Exactly. I think he had a good run, three albums + two spoken words projects (one released and one that is perhaps lost for good). We've heard the range. An entirely new team, with new ideas, different vibes and thought process wouldn't be so bad at this point. I hope her little adventure in that studio in Alabama is her experiencing with new people, doing things differently.
  14. Taco Truck would've been the best song on Ocean Blvd. (and probably her best closer too) had it been a full song. The x VB mashup feels unnecessary, underwhelming and tepid. Definitely my biggest disappoint with this album.
  15. Bartender's great though and somehow fits the album's vibe very well.
  16. I really don't care about hearing about Patty again
