  1. Honestly hope she is, her cover of Stand by Your Man is amazing, and I genuinely like when she's being a road dog with Nikki Lane.
  2. If that was really the case, she would be working on a country album just to spite
  3. Well agree to disagree, I'm just citing an example here (before anyone concludes that I want her to repeat that feat), I think that Born to Die is a perfect example of bombastic production. Not saying that the tracks you mentioned don't feature bombastic elements, I just think that it's not Jack's forte, or his way of doing it sounds a little too unpolished and unfinished.
  4. Bombastic is a vibe as well as a well rounded/layered production, songs featuring some type of beats aren't necessarily bombastic. A&W is the most bombastic song we've gotten in like four albums. Fishtails and Peppers should've been relegated to unreleased material.
  5. He's busy making music with Dulla Peep now, and as much as I want this to happen, it seems very unlikely. They're quite literally on opposite ends of the music spectrum.
  6. Love it, or hate it, she's just done with bombastic music. If she's sticking with Jack for the foreseeable future (which seems to be the case, unfortunately), I'd rather he sticks to piano tunes and stops using that cheap ass 2$ drum set.
  7. I feel like she's probably deeply embarrassed by that, wouldn't blame her tbh. The parasocial relationship her fans have with her fans is just...
  8. Like it's not a meet-and-greet or a concert or something, that's someone's wedding... this is pure & unadulterated insanity. The lack of self-awareness.
  9. I think it’s funny that people are being called jealous for pointing out that Lana gives a lot of affection and attention to this core group of stans that attend almost, if not, all her shows and make it a mission to be front and center every single time. Like love that for them, and love that Lana think it’s cute and eadearing—but that doesn’t make it any less obsessive, and honestly selfish too. I think she enables a sense of entitlement and righteousness in this fandom. This is clearly not the behaviour of people that have full-time work commitments or have a bills to pay.
  10. I mean that goes without saying that fans are never going to agree on a setlist. But still, there could be an effort made to at least play more songs from her most recent album. It's giving the NFR tour where she sang very little from the eponymously named album.
  11. She constantly misses opportunities to give a lot of fan favourite songs their live debut
  12. The way the backlash to this made her announce NFR/release the first two singles in advance to divert
  13. It's not like she's always singing 100% of her all her songs live each time either, be for real. At some point the audience will naturally take over, or she'll ask for it.
  14. She needs to add more of them high vibrations songs
  15. Classics can be overplayed and become boring. There is no need to hear Blue Jeans for the thousandth time, it's not like she's fine tuning it or presenting a different/altered version of the song--which is what she's actually doing with DMD and Cherry. Agree to disagree.
  16. Not wanting Lana to do Cherry is wild, like that's legit her liveliest song live
  17. I'd rather hear that cover than hear Born to Die, Blue Jeans or Summertime Sadness for the 17283849th time
  18. It's really just that. Also, her not performing her more upbeat tracks doesn't help I find. Because despite having choreography and theatrics, her shows remain somewhat low energy, especially last night. At least her vocals are on-point.
  19. Lana's core stans will be oblivious to that, but this setlist definitely felt like like one long piano ballad. She's losing a bit of momentum on stage--at least there was Pretty When You Cry. A show needs peaks and valleys.
  20. Lana will literally perform Blue Jeans on her deathbed.
