I fail to see anything here that would further your point, luv! Anyway, I'm sure we can find lyrics of a similar inclination from NFR. It's not a Honeymoon exclusive, and it's not necessarily bad.

I love how it's just assumed every single soul here has an all-encompassing obsession with critics' opinions & takes them so seriously that any opposing view would be received like a powerful emotional blow from which we would never be able to recover

You also realize that Taylor has an army of fan to back her up for her weak music right? We are definitely a dedicated bunch, leaks or not, but Lana doesn't attract crowds as much as Taylor, even though Lana's music is miles ahead. 

I wonder how she'll be able to mix both the aesthetics of Fuck it, I love you and The Greatest, like The Greatest seems to have this sorta late 90s bar setting whereas Fuck it, I love you, at least from the album trailer and what she teased on Instagram seems to have this 50s muscle beach kinda vibe idk

He didn't ruin them because he barely did anything with them, most of them sound really dry/flat and have this sort of underwhelming and  really subdued sound. I have nothing against a stripped down (or acoustic, if you will) type of sound, but does it have to be this lackluster and basic?

My thought exactly. 
I know we only have potato quality as of now, but I feel like even though the songs on NFR are undeniably beautiful... instrumentally speaking a lot of them are more of the same also so far I'm not feeling the final mixing of a lot of these tracks, sounds a bit incongruous to me.

Honeymoon is literally one of her most beautiful songs instrumentally speaking. It's so lush and cinematic.

aaand Jack is all about that dry/flat tone in his instrumentals.

Random question: Do you guys think she's actually going to change the entire setlist of her upcoming tour? It's the first time she actually has a tour that's called after her album titled, and also right after the album comes out instead of tour in between albums and giving random names to the tours?

the album literally leaked in full last friday, might be potato quality but that's still the same album. Nothing to do with being nervous or insecure, sometimes you just don't feel the music

I think that's a bold statement.
 
While I don't dislike the instrumentals per se, and think that the majority of the songs on this record sound beautiful, I feel like the final mixing of the songs make them sound a bit dry and flat. Like they lack beats to balance them out (either in the form of synth of percussions).
 
Also I feel like Rick is the one that gets her the most, they literally did her best album together Honeymoon (but also arguably her least interesting too: Lust for Life)
 
Anyway, I'm really eager to hear the HQ version of this album and really make up my mind about it all, so far it's bit hit or miss for me.

I feel like LFL doesn't even fit in her discography anymore, especially after listening to NFR in full. 

He's only credited on BAR, which makes sense since it was originally intented for LFL.
