I'm not sure, she hasn't said anything unlike when kesha's remix was late, and she hasn't even played it live iirc. I still find it strange she put it on the album in the first place as it's a 3rd mixtape/charli outtake from 2018, she shared that whole list of brat era songs, enough to make another brat, and she gave us that one on the brat deluxe? hello goodbye is cute don't get me wrong but I think there are brattier sounding outtakes from her unreleased she could have picked.
speaking of brat outtakes... where is the massive amount of material she wanted to release? I wonder if brat blowing up like it did impacted her initial rollout ideas, I personally believe that the brat remix album was supposed to be the same yellow as the remix artwork's labels but the green was so synonymous with brat by that point she decided to keep it green.

I think it might come from one of the huck shoots she did for hifn? if so it would have been on her instagram originally, here's a VK post with this image and another, they could have picked a random picture but this contemporary thread by them all use photos from the era so I think it's from that time

One thing I love about being an Angel - there's always another demo, reworked version, alt version, first draft w/different intro version.....

It is just unnecessary at this point in her career, she would be better off releasing an album of all brand new material.

right… like when she said that it sounded like she was gonna release the album… and then a ton of non-album singles just to get them out there on streaming… i was expecting tons of outtakes.

I need charli to make a non-stop brat mixtape in the same vein of heartbreaks and earthquakes with quotes from movies that inspired the album and perhaps some outtakes too...

that fanmade xcx tracklist really bothers me because i feel that the second half of the album is missing some major bite - i love those songs but i imagine that the actual xcx tracklist would have had a better tracklist

repeatedly saying they don’t like the traditional album rollout and want to just release songs ‘whenever’ but never actually doing that. 
 
(I know they’ve both been through a lot in their personal lives and I hate when people ignore that and act entitled, but at the same time please stop teasing music when nothing is actually on the table😭)

i dont even think she was involved in it. like the label was probably just like "lets reissue the album with these two songs" and that was it

what post are you referring to? I was talking about this post she made on the 9th anniversary of the album in march:
and she liked a comment saying 'put inha on the 10 year anniversary edition' a few months ago

she liked a comment asking if m6 was coming in aquarius season (as she tagged the announcement post with ‘aquarius season’) and the very latest friday that could be is Valentine’s Day (and with the heart profile picture and the quote about love in her bio might be a good contender tbh) so I don’t think it will be an issue, it’s a full month before the froot anniversary, which on the internet is an eternity. 
 
also, I don’t think we should forget her ability to ignore things, as much as I think jumping back to froot at the beginning of a new era is a bit messy, in reality she’ll announce the anniversary edition, maybe some merch, in an Instagram post and then never speak of it again.
 
I understand all the skepticism though as she announced the anniversary edition back in march and she’s not got the best track record with announcing things early or repackages  adiaml actually getting a deluxe after months of teasing absolutely shocked me
 
back to m6, I was wondering if she might do a no pre-album singles rollout like billie? it would make sense if she has a short album and a great way to stop people going into the album with a preconceived idea as sometimes her pre-album singles aren’t a great indicator of the album.

Just listened to Emotional Machine again and if the whole L+F sounded like this, Believe in Love, Handmade Heaven, Soft to Be Strong, End of the Earth, it could've been a masterpiece lol. Also will never forgive Lana for not accepting the collab ffs.
