well….as of right now if i enter a state of denial in which i do not to remember this is the same woman who wrote TFJ, EH, and FROOT i can say i am able to enjoy this song the same way i enjoy 90s/2000s europop like toy box and cascada 
but the song kinda reminds me of one that would be a hit among the youtube nightcore videos with a low quality anime drawing stolen from someone’s deviantart for the thumbnail in the early 2010s…. 

The chorus is catchy and I can see it becoming a tiktok hit. But the rest of the song mama please spare us some talent and creativity.

the bridge part was beautifully shot but I didn't like the makeup/face tape look on her, I don't think it suits her the same way it does on charli xcx for example

i know everyone hates it but the ONLY part of the song i like even a little bit is the chorus. at least she tried something different with it. but god. the verses sound like the worst songs on L+F. no substance, boring melody, the most boring production one could possibly muster up. the bridge being her listing colors? girl whatever

Let’s see how it makes sense with the album before the meltdowns.

I think some of you have just outgrown her- the same way I have with Lana. The single is fine- it’s a new direction and campy. Is it a lyrical masterpiece? No but it clearly wasn’t intended to be.

i like how the song is built but the lyrics are way too safe and simple . i need something lyrically complex by marina . and if she could do it at 18 she can do it now . i wonder how much time she spent writing this 

I really don't understand any TFJ comparisons people make, people are deaf or what  It's fun but still sounds like Grimes on Temu  

She should've made Love + Fear with Rick Nowels. All of it. He'd save it. He'd slay vulnerabie songs with her - Marina's I Never Learn/Ray of Light where? - and take care of the sonical mess the tracks are and handle it with grace just like he did on Honeymoon with Lana. Make it work.

oh okay, just thought you didn't notice. but i do think as well that marina writes miles better when she's challenged by another co-writer.

I'm sure there are better songs on the album, but this isn't bad, the lyrics are just nothing new and the song is very L+F imo (not a horrible thing bc I think it gives handmade heaven and that's one of the best from L+F)

the intro reminds me of 'all around the world' by ATC. 
I don't hate it but I don't love it, it's cute/enjoyable and I suspect it might be a grower. I wish she used her lower register to give a bit more contrast, it feels a bit one note from verse to pre-chorus. I actually prefer the chorus to the verses, I just feel like sometimes she works better with a co-writer to edit lyrics and maybe this could have helped here, but there's nothing egregious that makes me want to make an edit like purge the poison's verses. the concept is cute too! personally I find it relatable.

I like it more than I was expecting to, definitely not going to be a favorite of mine or anything but good enough to give me hope for this era I suppose. Aside from the pitching on the vocals I do really like the almost-europop production on the chorus.

i mean it’s not groundbreaking but it’s a fun pop song idk what yous was expecting  the last 45 seconds are VERY froot reminiscent

FROOT has soo much material like visual demos etc... there's a WEALTH of stuff she could use to make a banging anniversary edition but i doubt she will. but like....
 
even just using the original FROOT cover (the one not photoshopped of her in a bra with orange lighting) would be so cool

so we have just under a month to go until the 10 year anniversary of FROOT, will I’m not hungry anymore be scrapped for the fourth time? will we get any other outtakes? will we finally get to hear froot’s 7 minute demo? what will the cover be? are we going to get any new photos? is she simply going to do a repressing of the regular vinyl or will the boxset be back? will we be disappointed but unsurprised or pleasantly surprised?
