  6. Fitz & The Tantrums are an American neo soul/indie pop band from Los Angeles, formed in 2008. The band consists of Michael Fitzpatrick (lead vocals and keyboards), Noelle Scaggs (vocals and percussion), James King (saxophone, flute, keyboard, percussion and guitar), Joseph Karnes (bass guitar), Jeremy Ruzumna (keyboards) and John Wicks (drums and percussion). They are produced by Chris Seefried, who is also a co-writer. SINGLES "Winds of Change" "L.O.V." "Breakin' the Chains of Love" "MoneyGrabber" "Don't Gotta Work It Out" "Out of My League" "The Walker" Alright, so if you've heard these guys from anywhere, it's "The Walker" from Ellen's Oscar commercials from this past year, or playing in Urban Outfitters. They've got two albums, Pickin' Up the Pieces, and More Than Just a Dream. I've seem them live, and they put on a damn good show. They're amazingly fun, and they've got a really cool Hall & Oates meets technopop type vibe. I strongly urge you to give them a listen. BUY PICKIN' UP THE PIECES HERE BUY MORE THAN JUST A DREAM HERE
  7. what would you say to fans going through a difficult time? what is your ultimate aspiration in life? what do you think of marina and the diamonds?
  8. i like it, but it just doesn't seem as iconic as btd or paradise, y'know? idk i'm probably wrong.
  9. i don't know how soon, but i'm banking on it being a promo single.
  10. that makes a lot of sense tho the hype for UV is definitely building up, so they're probably starting preparations to release it as a promo single, and somehow it leaked
  11. it's up for interpretation, but mainly, the narrator stumbled upon his father and his brother is going to spend eternity digging with his father.
  12. So I've been on a bit of a kick lately. I've always loved scary stuff, anything ranging from that old library copy of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark we all read in kindergarten to The Human Centipede: First Sequence, which I watched and thoroughly enjoyed at age nine. Obviously I've got nerves of steel, because not even Martyrs turned me off to the whole gorno thing. I thought I'd make a list of all my favourite horror movies, creepypastas, stories, etc. I've included a brief warning along with each. If you don't think you can handle one, please, please don't force yourself to read/watch it. I really don't want to upset anyone! If you've got any other ideas, I'll add them! Here we go~ MY FAVOURITE GRAPHIC HORROR MOVIES: A Serbian Film {EXTREMELY SEXUALLY GRAPHIC; NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. MESSES PEOPLE UP.} The Human Centipede: First Sequence + The Human Centipede II: Full Sequence {Obviously the most infamous of the gorno category. The first one is rather tame, and can be watched for a good laugh; the second one has a much darker tone. May give you a queasy stomach, at the least.} Melancholie der Engel {English translation: The Angel's Melancholy. MESSED. UP.} Vile {Sexual horror is kept to a minimum here, but watching may force yourself to curl up into a ball and cry. There is a very good plot here, though.} Megan is Missing {God knows we need another movie about the ~dangers of the internet~. Still, I only watched this for the shock appeal. This movie may make you roll your eyes and grumble "Damned teenagers these days," but the last twenty minutes are gruesome.} Martyrs {Again, rather shocking. Loads of gore here.} Audition {Japanese film. Not as disgusting as people claim it is, but a good twist. Will make you cringe in pain. Sort of the Misery of Japan.} Cannibal Holocaust {THE CLASSIC OF THE CLASSICS. THE ONE THAT STARTED IT ALL. Lots of gore, nudity, and rape here. Take caution.} I Spit on Your Grave {The original is better than the remake, but it's up to you. This started the rape/revenge genre.} The Last House on the Left {Another rape/revenge flick.} Salo or the 120 Days of Sodom {I'm ashamed to say I laughed all the way through this. A testament to modern cinema.} V/H/S + V/H/S 2 {Rather good, actually. I quite enjoyed them.} Teeth {Recommended for anybody with a vagina. No, that's not me stereotyping females. Not very gory, just funny.} Karla {Based on the true story of Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka, a husband-and-wife serial killer and rapist duo. I found this one fascinating because it doesn't focus on the crimes as much as the aftermath and the effects. Not recommended for anybody with a fear of kidnapping or harassment.} American Psycho {Also classic. My fave on the whole list.} A Clockwork Orange {S/O to my main girl Lana.} Right. Onto the lighter stuff. Read this in the dark by yourself for full effect. Use headphones when needed. My Father's Long, Long Legs {Interactive horror story. NO JUMP SCARES. Very creepy.} Leftovers - {TW: mentions of eating disorder; the twist at the end made me gasp out loud.} Annie96 is typing... {Wow. One of my faves. Very creepy. No jump scares, but the screen shakes a bit.} Dr. Ramsey {Creepy stalker story.} Betsy the Doll {TW: mentions of drug use and abuse. I was not expecting that.} Russian Sleep Experiment {Lots of body horror. Interesting if you're into case studies and things like that.} Death at 423 Stockholm Street {FUCK. WOW.} 1999 {A bit disturbing. I love it.} That's all I've got for now. Feel free to share, discuss, etc. Enjoy!
  13. yooo when i heard "my pussy tastes like pepsi cola" i was like wtf no and then i listened to all of cola and it's one my faves so i'm not gonna judge FMWTTT. {the title does stick out though; there's sure to be controversy}
  14. i'm freaking out a lot wow wow wow it's coming
  15. no, actually the name counts as a band. technically it's florence {flo} + the machine {isabella summers, her girlfriend, best friend, and co-writer and producer}. f+tm refers to the whole band uvu
  16. i'm in love~ btw, if anybody has any pears, i'll give you 10,000 bells for one
  17. i'm loving all the short, floral dresses. they show off her legs and her hair looks amazing down with them.
  18. how she plays with her microphone cord how she shows up at concerts/goes shopping in jeans, t-shirts, and a baseball cap and STILL looks super sexy asking if it's okay to smoke onstage
  19. fair warning: there is loaaads of nudity, gore, necrophilia, pedophilia, and incest.
  20. SO. Larina is one of my favourite things in the world, and there isn't a thread for it! I'd thought I'd make one. For those of you who don't know, Larina is the pairing {either friendly or romantic} of Lana Del Rey and Greek/Welsh recording artist Marina Diamandis, otherwise known as Marina & the Diamonds. While her music isn't very mainstream and she hasn't had anything out in a while, Marina is very, very popular in the Lana fandom. If you haven't given her a listen, I strongly encourage it! Lana and Marina have never been spotted together, but they have tweeted each other very friendly things before: (can't find the exact tweet source at the moment) @@lanadelrey -> @@marinasdiamonds "Love You. Didn't wanna say Goodbye." "thinking of you today. Happy New Years." "How's My Girl?" @@marinasdiamonds -> @@lanadelrey "I never wanna say g'bye to the Princess of Oi." "Could not handle @@lanadelrey's beauty tonight. She is one of the true beauty queens. Listen to her music. Love u, gf." Unfortunately we've never gotten a picture of them together, but there are great song mash-ups (National Anthem vs. Bubblegum Bitch is my fave) and excellent manips. So, what do you think? Are you a shipper, or just a fan? Would you like a collab? Discuss!
