it was so weird yesterday bc i dreamed that my high school friend was pregnant and then i woke up and opened instagram and Chuck's pregnancy announcement was the first thing i saw

that was my plan too but then it leaked and i'm still conflicted whether i should stick to my original plan or listen to it now. i already listened to aka, btd, paradise, uv and hm, i'm currently listening to lfl, so maybe i will listen to cocc tomorrow? idk, life is full of hard decisions

i'm just trying to stay strong and not listen to anything until the 19th but i've already downloaded everything and i have a really strong urge to click on yosemite GOD HELP ME

i kinda feel the same, i was really excited about it in the summer but as sept 5th came and went without anything happening my hype died and i haven't really managed to build it up. i still feel excited in some ways but it's not the same as it was with norman, it's more of a laid back, calm anticipation now, not the screaming out loud type lol. i'm going to start getting ready for the release on the 12th by listening to aka, and then every album of hers each day leading up to march 19th, and hopefully that will make me a bit more aware of how quickly the release date is approaching bc right now it still feels like it's months away. what makes me excited this time is that so far i haven't heard much of this album (i didn't listen to bus and for free and i don't remember what the tfj snippet sounds like) and i didn't overplay lmlylaw and cocc so it's gonna feel fresher than any of her previous records. and that, combined with the pre-album build-up i planned will give me a melodramatic, out of body first time listening experience

this is soo bad on the other hand we only have 18 days left so i have to start mentally preparing for the album and YOSEMITE

i was thinking and i might not listen to white dress when/if it comes out.... i usually don't have the strenght to avoid snippets and singles before the album release but somehow i'm not hyped for it rn so it would be easier to resist. i'm really hyped for march 19th and i feel that the 26th is a bit too close to it, plus i did not overplay cocc and lmlylaw so hopefully it will still be relatively fresh-sounding and i'll be able to experience it first as 1 singular, united body of work rather than just a collection of songs. i guess i'll see in a few days

my disappointment stems from the fact that i was lusting after that ass for a good 20-30 minutes thinking it was lana's but then i realized it was her most unsympathetic friend's, and now i feel shame

the only thing i'm disappointed about is that that ass in the video is not Lana's ass, everything else is just perfect

i came home for the holidays and i was really struggling bc my anxiety was sooo bad but bitch NOT ANYMORE this is everything i ever wanted from this new era

saw someone (i think it might have been you? i'm not sure) mention her in another thread, so i listened to her music while i was working and wow... she is fucking amazing. i had high tide on repeat for about a week. i can't wait to meet my friends, get drunk/high and listen to her together at night.

one of my friends who isn't a Lana stan has bought the book, and i can't wait to hear her opinion about it. i'm really interested to hear what her poems mean to someone who doesn't know that much about her and doesn't get the references.
