I don't think I've got full-on synesthesia but there are some things that cause association with me, usually peoples' voices or words and it'll be with sensations or colors,, sometimes smell. The thing is it doesn't happen with everything, it's kind of hit or miss what'll bring about associations but when it does happen it's pretty strong. Out of Lana's stuff UV and Paradise have the strongest associations; Paradise as a whole is very warm feeling with lots of heavier colors, while UV is very lush and damp. Cruel World - intense light orange and dark brown, also the feeling of damp soil Ultraviolence - lavenders and some blue but also there's something really warm in there color-wise Shades of Cool - humidity and deep greens Brooklyn Baby - yellow-orange West Coast - almost black and bright yellow, the feeling of wetness Sad Girl - grey and varying shades of red, raindrops on skin Pretty When I Cry - light greens Money Power Glory - fog, I dunno as a color or feeling but fog FMWUTTT - a very warm, pastel grey-brown Old Money - black and an intense orange/white, her voice is kinda pink in the chorus The Other Woman - pastels, lots of pastels Black Beauty - vivid blue (like the sky at the beach) and monochrome shades Guns and Roses - Dark and kind of static-y, her voice glows Florida Kilos - Lilac and something very muddy Is This Happiness - pastel purple and yellow Flipside - there's a very specific feeling I associate this with and I don't know how to describe it Ride - dark blue (the night sky kinda blue) and the physical feeling of warmth American - blend of like light burnt orange and goldenrod Cola - green and brown Body Electric - blue-black and a very very faded yellow makes a few appearances Blue Velvet - grey-green (does that even make sense??) and a faded blue-purple, the smell of pine trees Gods & Monsters - deep burnt orange Yayo - dark dark green Bel Air - off-white with a very very slight red tint

I don't think Lana herself has said anything but from what we've heard so far I'm assuming it's gonna be something along the lines of an embrace of independence (bad boys to bad bitch kinda thing).

So this is probably reaching a bit, but I was thinking - between her comments about the album being based more in observations, the cover being shot in a bus that provides celebrity tours, the whole "lectures about my favorite stars" thing (altho I may have misheard her, if anything of her's has ever been recorded thru a potato it's the damn hotline), and the likelihood of TLY referring to Bowie and his brother, what if each song on Honeymoon is based around something pertaining to the life or aesthetic of a different idol/favorite artist of Lana's?

What's the point of torturing yourself by not listening? I mean personally for Lana's sake I kinda hope we get another two weeks in before a leak but once it does it's fair game, not listening ain't gonna unleak it.

I won't be surprised if we get a new song each week thru the hotline, I feel like we'll end up with GKIT and Freak since she mentioned those explicitly.

I like it. The concept isn't half bad tho.

I'm interested to see the extent of the Miles Davis influence she talked about cuz I've been listening to Bitches' Brew for an hour or so now and I quite like it.

I'd be here for a different take on it for the closing track, but I'd rather her do something of a part two - start the track with a slightly different take on the "dreamin' away your life" bit and then move into something dealing with the disillusionment that sometimes follows the end of a relationship's honeymoon phase.

All of the posts are from the past 4 days, so I'd say it's safe to assume that more will be coming soon. I sincerely doubt this one is her but should they post something exclusive with the next batch then there's always the chance that it's someone close to her.

In all fairness though the era itself has yet to really start - sure we've got an instagram account and we know that things are coming, but she's yet to even announce a single. The label's promotional run typically starts with the lead song, so why should we expect Lana to be hauling ass on a personal promo plan when the label isn't even ready? Let the girl have her fun, that's what the instagram is for at this point.

Some of y'all act like you're entitled to have everything she does, it's impressive honestly.

I mean she's been more active in the past few days than like the entirety of the past 2 years so I wouldn't be surprised.
