she released and ep and two mixtapes full of songs that her label was almost completely against promoting, i'm gonna support this girl in any way i can because she has done so much for her fans already, let her fucking live, i swear yall are annoying as FUCK to her

seriously though, like she tries her best to please her audience, if y'all don't support her major/commercial releases, how do y'all expect her label to allow her to release any music at all, like how does that logic click in y'alls heads 

It's kinda got those offbeat, PC-style "shimmering/glossy" effects scattered through-out too... it almost sounds like a middle-ground of N1A and POP 2, IMO.

I've legit just made a playlist on Spotify with 1999/NA/Focus/GNO/5ITM on loop and just left it playing on my laptop all day with headphones in djskdnsjs hopefully it all counts

Just downloaded Spotify on my work computer to stream (with the comupter on mute) in the background while I’m streaming on Apple Music on my phone. My mind.........

I am shocked and incredibly sad. The YouTube video for Mariners Apartment Complex will hardly exceed one million views in 24 hours... How is that possible? Do you have any explanation? Indeed, Lana has never been Adele or Taylor Swift, but her video views last year with Love or Lust For Life were pretty decent though. Even Meghan Trainor and Floptina did have better results! 

Okay 1999 is really cute & I can tolerate Troye because he has no presence on the song lol. I’m sure I’ll get a cute remix or something that cuts him out anyway. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It is so IMPORTANT that we support this as much as we can, I know a lot of us already are and I’m not one to make these playlists to make sure the streams count, the most I did was buy Girls Night Out and streamed it on Spotify whenever. BUT THIS IS APPARENTLY THE LEAD SINGLE FROM A NEW ALBUM so we need to help promote the fuck out of it. It sounds like a hit but we need to push the hell out of it ourselves bevause we know Atlantic won’t plus it features Troye Sivan who has been a mixed reception in the fan base but at least it’s ANOTHER fan base who will help support the hell out of it. This could be something huge for Charli omg

Charli fucking deserves it. if we can all use our energy to type “leak _______” thousands of times until a hacker leaks material Charli worked her ass off on and planned on releasing herself that then sends her into spiraling depression, we can use that same enthusiasm to STREAM & PROMOTE THIS SONG thank you that is all.

like I appreciate her intent (if it’s for anything other than headlines) and frankly im surprised because I didn’t think she’d go against Kanye. she’s usually pretty mellow and non-confrontational so yea color me somewhat shocked and impressed / annoyed

Of course you are all right. However, I can't help but beign sad that she just doesn't seem to give a fuck about anything. As a fan, I consider that she could at least please me - just a little - by puting out correct videos for her singles... I am not asking for any big promo plan, etc. Just a minimum, showing that she cares about us by releasing ''decent'' stuff. So, finally, the situation is frustrating. And even if she didn't have any hit singles for the last years, her latest videos (Love, Lust for Life), were doing great. So I am not wrong by saying that the current situation is terribly wrong (ridiculous views showing no interest for her new music videos...). I know, I am a bit repetitive, and I am sorry for that. 

Or she can continue making good music and not give two fucks about a “poor” chart performance. The woman has made millions and BTD is still charting. She’s just fine.

I mean... I don't think she had any illusions that this would be a huge hit. I think they are just songs and cute little videos she liked and wanted to put out. I wish she would promote herself more too and put more effort into her singles and videos, but it's clear she doesn't really want to do any of that any more and that's just her choice.

Who cares tbh none of her singles were hits on the charts anyway, she'll probably still get a #1 or #2 album, an that for a 6th album with barely any promo is quite incredible
