my bf bought the 7" sounds real cool! on fiona coyne, the original version has that chorus fade out at the end but on the record it goes "i love you till the record stops" then onto the next track which i thought was a real cute touch. but ya i love that album art too tbh

he uses a bunch of pop samples and he uses them well imo. Also uses a lot of funk samples tho this is mostly on Hit Vibes also for lovers of Hit Vibes Macross 82-89 particularly A Million Miles Away

my worst fear for the season ( ugh i had so much hope for this to recover from fan service mess that was coven. Worse still i'm not sure i actually like any of the characters. I mean there's no one i'm rooting for, no one i'm shipping. i don't hate all of the characters but i'm v apathetic thus far.

Back when I was a flop fan and heard tracks off aka for the first time, not knowing aka was a whole entire album. I had already been jammin to video games and started scrolling through the lana tumblr tag in search of tunes. When I came across Pawn Shop Blues idk man it was moment, something definitely clicked for me. I was very struck by the stark contrast to the heavily produced video games and the vulnerability of the lyrics in psb. It (and eventually the rest of aka) made me feel like lana's talent lay far beyond video games and everything I was reading about her at the time. So ya I guess that's when the stanning begun
