You know what, we were really right to beg for Midnight for 5 years because it really is like one of her very best songs and most emotive performances. It would have been so great on True Romance, I can't believe it was destined to sit in the dusty files on a hard drive forever. Grateful we have that .mp3 every day PERIOD.

Vroom Vroom era served iconic photoshoots, aesthetic, sound, let alone the choreography and dancers (but lets just not judge by this category) something "Charli" era is yet to achieve. Not trying to be rude or something but the looks/aesthetic for this era are: ok and good period. TR and Vroom Vroom (Even the dead and gone XCX World concept holy fuck) were more... original?(strong word to say but...). Im still happy shes managing to release a record and seems happy now. "Charli" doesnt need to have backup dancers or whatever, I just want this era to be good and happy for her.
Ps: im not trying to say every pop artist should follow these steps to be good enough or whatever it was just something that seems to lack in this era. Its only the beginning and Gone (which is a bop) is coming and I cant wait to see what they've done with the mv ♡)

y'all.. this entire week was fucking nuts I feel so blessed to be able to live in NY hearing all the gays sing along to lucy liu (and yes, he only played like 1 min of it that's it), and then her private show on Thursday... like what is this white mercedes slander that's happening... I remembered hearing that microwaved discord leak a couple months ago and I remembered CRYING the first time I heard it like holy shit that song was so fucking powerfull and just thinking how it'll never get released, and then the tracklist was announced it was gonna be on her album and I was in such a state of shock like how IS THIS SIMULATION EVEN REALL AND THENN last Thursday I was like woah luv tha REALLY CAUGHT ME OFF GUARDDD I was literally balling my eyes out when she started singing white mercedes it was so beautiful and i was just there ugly crying trying to sing along my friend lit rally thought i was gonna pass out ohmygodddd charli really fucking did that

i almost exclusively go to concerts alone. mainly because i typically wait in line all day so i'm one of/the first in line and none of my friends like them enough to wait that long (or buy a ticket in the first place lol). but i also genuinely prefer going alone and rarely invite friends in the first place. 
 
there is nothing better than meeting + bonding with fellow stans! you get to talk about the deep cuts and moments that you'll otherwise only find online (to discuss). i've made so many friends from concerts and festivals, many of whom i still talk with over snap/twitter/insta. it's so much fun to be outside yourself and embrace being a full stan irl. you're all there for the same reason.
 
put yourself out there as soon as you get in line. introduce yourself to whoever's directly in front of you (and whoever comes after you). if you act reserved it's just gonna be awkward the whole rest of the time (i speak from experience; i'm talkative but hate being the one to break the ice). 
 
man… froot promo tour in detroit, born this way ball in minneapolis, gov ball 2017, la to the moon tour in minneapolis, pop 2 nyc… the people i met and the shit we did together are some of my favorite memories, and made the shows all the better of experiences. don't judge the people around you by how they look or by first impressions. odds are you will have a great time together, and it's great to have people to complain with when people in the front inevitably let their friends cut.
 
i honestly feel bad for people who feel pressured to find friends to come with. it's missing out on the rare opportunity to bond with people from all walks of life brought together by your fucking fave, who's an important part of your daily lives but you only know from afar. we get to wild out together and have a real life fan community for that one special day. ahhh.

also, the version we have sounds fine on earbuds but if you blast it loud on speakers you can tell it's low quality, I wish I could play it out DJing but it doesn't hit as hard as it would if it was 320
