I love how she thinks she's alternative and artsy and special when HKF was one of the most generic, overproduced and mainstream friendly pop albums ever.

Oh god, another "interview" where another "I'm such a legend" artist has an artsy-fartsy conversation with Lana over a cup of tea and they decided to put it out as an "interview". Why can't she just do an exciting, professional one with cool infos about her upcoming album? Can we have one album without this tiring conversation please?

I feel more like it's going to be the short track that is really intriguing, yet leaves you wondering after like 3.45

Maybe it will be on the "Best Of & Hidden Treasures" album they'll release when she dies

IF there will be a Deluxe, it will be announced with the pre-order but if there is none, I can already imagine how everyone here keeps expecting it to be announced even after the album is out. Maybe Yosemite will be the Itunes-exclusive.

BtD, especially in the context of 2011s music-context was pretty innovative.

lol where did I say this? But yeah, Ridi is generic. Lanas voice is unique but the song itself is pretty generic. Not that I don't like it but - it's not an innovative or particularly unique track.

The keyword is "execution". Her lyrics were always ... Lana lyrics. But the execution is where things got unique

That's what I mean. If I want "bops to shake my ass to" there are PLENTY of artists. Don't need Lana to deliver that sort of thi gs. I stan her for hr unique style

I think L4L soubds pretty much like something everyone could have done. So does the SB snippet.And yeah, maybe her muse is fading. But I'd rather have her being repetitive with doing "the usual LDR stuff" a la Cherry, cause that's what she's great at, instead of delivering things her fans might like, but which are just ... generic.

This fanbase and it's obsession with the unreleased material is annoying. Yeah, she had those tracks but looking at her OFFICIAL LDR discography (BtD, Paradise, UV, HM), she never used that stuff for her public artist-persona. Apart from that Summer Bummer and LFL are not really having this trashy charme all of the songs you mentioned have - they are just mainstream-ish. Lanas appeal was always pretty unique, so it's understandable some people are disappointed when she does this stuff basically everyone is doing. If you are into "bops" there are more than enough artists that provide this sound. So yeah, I think it's artistic decay if she becomes generic. Not because I have a "better music taste' but because I think she can do better. Not everyone has to do the same stuff.

but did he lie? Summer Bummer is probably going to be a huge mess. She chose to be messy this era and abandon the wonderful, glamorous aura that actually made her as an artist before. But whatever, at least this time it's going to be a hillarious mess and not a bad one, like with Lust For Life. Since there will obviously be great tracks with a classic Lana-feeling on the album, like Cherry or White Mustang, I don't even mind anymore.

Of course everyone has a different taste. But constantly lynching this track while celebrating Lust For Life is just stupid. You may like one better, but in the end they are not really that far apart from each other in terms of artistic decay.

Gawd, she acts like a 14year old (aka her fan base) "Well ok, I act all political and woke in order to seem interesting and fascinate some brainless teens but then feature homophobes on my album. Ok. But I'm ok with HIM being a homophobe, cause ... that's something completely different, cause I say so right now. Look at Iggy, she's bad aswell, go lynch her!!!!11!" She's pathetic.

Still don't get the hate for Coachella - yeah, it's messy and noisy and the production seems rushed and the lyrics are cringy. But her vocals are actually pretty good and the production actually has a bunch of pretty nice elements. if they actually rework it a bit to flow better, it could be a pretty nice song. Definitly better than "lOvE fOr LiFe FeAtUrINg tHe sCreEchEnD"

After listening to it a few times, my favs still are 1. Sober 2. Melodrama 3. Green Light 4. Writer In The Dark 5. Lieability 6. Homemade Dynamite The rest of the tracks are all ok but depending on my mood I either really like them or think they are boring.
