  1. but did he lie? Summer Bummer is probably going to be a huge mess. She chose to be messy this era and abandon the wonderful, glamorous aura that actually made her as an artist before. But whatever, at least this time it's going to be a hillarious mess and not a bad one, like with Lust For Life. Since there will obviously be great tracks with a classic Lana-feeling on the album, like Cherry or White Mustang, I don't even mind anymore.
  2. Of course everyone has a different taste. But constantly lynching this track while celebrating Lust For Life is just stupid. You may like one better, but in the end they are not really that far apart from each other in terms of artistic decay.
  3. Gawd, she acts like a 14year old (aka her fan base) "Well ok, I act all political and woke in order to seem interesting and fascinate some brainless teens but then feature homophobes on my album. Ok. But I'm ok with HIM being a homophobe, cause ... that's something completely different, cause I say so right now. Look at Iggy, she's bad aswell, go lynch her!!!!11!" She's pathetic.
  4. Still don't get the hate for Coachella - yeah, it's messy and noisy and the production seems rushed and the lyrics are cringy. But her vocals are actually pretty good and the production actually has a bunch of pretty nice elements. if they actually rework it a bit to flow better, it could be a pretty nice song. Definitly better than "lOvE fOr LiFe FeAtUrINg tHe sCreEchEnD"

After listening to it a few times, my favs still are 1. Sober 2. Melodrama 3. Green Light 4. Writer In The Dark 5. Lieability 6. Homemade Dynamite The rest of the tracks are all ok but depending on my mood I either really like them or think they are boring.
  6. The cover ... the sonbg title ... the feature ... the font ... something about this is so hillarious. I'm sad she seemingly completely abandoned the glamorous LDR persona I stanned her for. Yet it's still ... hillarious and fun. First time since Cherry that I am excited for LFL. Although not the usual way I would be excited for Lana material.
  7. No BAR ;( but the absence of Yosemite and the fact that it's 16 and not 18 tracks could hint a deluxe ...
  8. Look at all the cringeworthy sh*t he puts out. "The Weeknd - Summer Bummer" would not suprise anyone. Listen to their collabs, that completely water down Lana's unique talent into some generic pop stuff.
  9. When I saw the UV tracklist for the first time, I believed it to be fake with titles like Sad Girl and FMWUTTT. Maybe awful titles like "Summer Bummer" and "Groupie Love" are Abel's bad influence on her art. Or the tracks will be suprisingly good in the end either way. However "In My Feelings" and "Get Free" sound so fanmade and the absence of Yosemite make me think that this may be fake.
  10. Ugh ... it lost a lot of funk/energy compared to the Coachella version and the vocals sound weak. But I guess that's what Clean Bandit does - create generic, mainstream music. Pretty sad that we had to wait so long for that watered down version.
  11. Cause it's not cool to molest celebs, especially on their birthday
  12. That's your opinion, maybe you should get some attitude hun.
  13. The video is just like the song -extremely beautiful but not really something that sticks out of her work.
  14. what is this logic. It's a manip using a L'Uomo Vogue outtake if I'm not wrong. It's not real at all.
  15. I can't at people actually thinking there will be L4L news. If she's even going to be there then I'm pretty sure she'll not do anything promo-related but celebrate her fucking birthday. Getting close with her batcrazy, braindead "YASS QUEEN" fans is definitly going to take all of her mental ressources and give her an excuse to cancel every possible TV performance for this era. The only thing I could imagine is a 5 second instagram vid where she tells someone the name of her favourite track on the album or whatever. But no official announcements.
  16. Art Deco sounds pretty "cute". The instrumental is actually pretty nice as a soundtrack, don't really feel like it's too dark but more like to "dynamic" for an emotional scene
  17. Sad Girl was a song I did not like when UV came out, mostly because the lyrics are pretty ... stripped back. But it really grew on me - the instrumental has this sort of gangster-movie-scene-in-a-dark-smokey-bar vibe and her vocals are on point. It's the only song she ever did that actually sounds sort of jazz-ish. And for like three days I wasn't impressed with West Coast. I guess I just was a bit too much into her unreleased stuff at that time and hoped for something different. At first, I only really liked the German Radio Mix, but then the song started to "hypnotize" me and it became my favourite Lana track.
  18. most of the photoshoots so far are just what a basic fashion photographer woukd set up and not really like anything that really creates a visual concept. All Lana herself provided were some vanilla-pics in front of a white wall and pics from the Love MV shoot. Even HM had a more distinct visual theme. She should just gibe us the tracklist/preorder/music, at this point I don't see her delivering anything special other than that for the LFL era
  19. This era has no actual visual direction. All of the photoshoots were nice, but they were just "the usual fashion photoshoots" (minus LaChapelle). The ONLY thing she should do is drop the tracklist and a promo single with a pre-order. After that, she may disappear until LDR6 but at least that way we'd had some music to listen to, speculate about etc.

    would already be out/announced
  21. And I'm happy it's not like that. If I want happy and uplifiting music,I'm not listening to LDR. I love her for her sad vintage-queen persona and not for generic pop-shit featuring Abel's atrocious voice. Cherry gave me back my lust for Lust For Life
