Isn't the Sober Interlude and melodrama the same thing?
  2. It's not really unusual for artists to perform new tracks on their concerts, without the intention of releasing them as singles. I mean ... I also REALLY hope we'll get the traclk asap, but let's not get out hopes up.
  3. I actually really enjoy it when she does that. At least on songs like PWYC or this one. Like, I don't want to say it's not called "Cherry", but just her captioning it that way does not really confirm it. She could have just oosted it because of the lyrics. And both her vocals aswell as the guitar sound like it could have been an acoustic one-take, with the basic vox and the drums added later.
  4. It would actually make sense if this was Yosemite. Wasn't it supposed to be recorded in one take? Her vocals sound so ... emotional and authentic on those "Cherry" snippets and it would probably explain the slightly UV-esque vibe of the track.
  5. aren't those supposed to be strawberries though? Like, they are round and there are two of them, but those "dots" look like the seeds cherries have on the outside.
  6. I'd LOVE it if she collabed with Massive Attack. Tracks like "Libertine" or "Scarlette" channel some strong Protection/Mezzanine vibes. Or with Tricky .. imagine both of their perfect voices in a duet on some sexy, beat-heavy Trip-Hop track.
  7. Her talking about arrogant musicians in interviews, aswell as the lyrics for Cherry gives me hope that BAR/Architecture might still be on the record.
  8. I seriously thought I would unstan this era, but CHerry really really caught me again. Watch it getting scrapped
  9. OMG THÌS CHERRY SONG SOUNDS SO F*CKING GREAT! The first track from this era that really gets me excited! The drums .. her vocals ... the guitar .. the production ... YAAAAASSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. WOW! This is the first song from this era that really gets me excited!
  11. This is a joke. she is such a joke. July ... hahaha
  12. Brooklyn Baby was released as a buzz-single shortly before UV came out, just like she did it with MTWBT for Honeymoon. Blue Jeans, Summertime Sadness, National Anthem, Dark Paradise and Ultraviolence were all post-album singles.
  13. Some 14 year old tumblr gurl hears Lust For Life featuring her favourite basic pop star The Cringend on Spotify. She starts to pick up interest in this Lana Del Ray-gurls music, especially that record which includes the Summertime Sadness remix and wants to see when the new album will be released. She googels. She does not find anything. She forgets everything about it and will probably not care for it anymore or buy it. Without an actual release date, it's hard to build up anticipation. There are actually a lot of people who pre-order music.
  14. If only the music's quality would live up to the promo ... The chapelle pics are so great, but they don't go along with those basic tracks she's released for this album so far.

God that cover looks hideous ... but whatever. Where is Sober?
  16. Not sure wether her calling Abel "Starboy" all the time is a cringy attempt to use a cute nickname, or if she just forgot his actual alias.
  17. Love is solid but boring as hell. I have to admit that when it came out, I hoped that it would just be a bit less exciting because it was the lead single. It's ok, but not really worth mentioning. Lust For Life is terrible. I don't like the Weeknd at all and his presence on this track completelyy kicks it into the void of generic, soulless pop-sound. It's so muddy and hectic and basic. Coachella - Woodstock In My Mind is messy, the lyrics are cringy and the beat could have been better, but her vocal delivery is pretty nice and the track somehow managed to get me hooked. Overall, the album seems to mark the decay of Lana's uniqueness, the aura that made her stick out seemingly faded and instead of maturing she embraces some faux-teenybopper pop sound. I hope the album will have some nicer tracks on it and that she returns to a more mature, maybe rock-ish sound for LDR6.
  18. To be fair, it's the best vocal delivery on a L4L track so far..
  19. Maybe she will anounce it if it's the 15th in the US. It could probably come with an announcement of the tracklist or the pre-order. I don't see why they would randomly release a third single, since we all know she won't promote it. So it would make sense as a promo-single that you get instantly if you pre-order.
  20. Well, that's your opinion and I will respect it but I think beats like on Born To Die, Off To The Races and especially National Anthem are actrually extremely well done.
  21. I can't see myself loving it but I may actually enjoy it if I try to stop comparing it to the rest of her repertoire I have to disagree. The Coachella beat just plays in the abckground, it is pretty disjointed from the rest of the music, yet pretty dominant. The beats on BtD had a lot of effects and felt like they were an organic part of the music, not something that the music was composed around.

Now that she knows Lana won't be any kind of competition, she can lean back and chill. That's why it's going to be delayed
  23. I feel like although Coachella is really weak compared to everything else she has done so far, it's the only released L4L track that I could see grow on me.
  24. Yeah, but beats does not equal beats and pop does not equal pop. On Born To Die, Lana did her own kind of pop. On Lust For Life, she tries to fit inside some sort of generic pop-cocoon. But yeah, she definitly needs to do a rock album.
