I'd add to this that the juxtaposition of songs like Violets For Roses and Dealer or Arcadia and The Trio aswell as the inclusion of songs from a time where critics really went all in on her might be her idea of revenge. Plus there is the hot mess that is Black Bathing Suit

Dealer is actually the song Lana wrote when she decided to delete her social media. The verses sung by Miles are her telling us not to bother her anymore. She knows Lipsters are one hell of an investigative research team when it comes to information about Ms. Grant, so she really wants us to know we should NOT. CONTACT. HER: PERSONAL. ENVIRONMENT. including Rob, her doc and her dealer. The chorus is Lana screaming at us for not being happy with CoCC and nagging about her birthday posts. She does not want to give us anything anymore, at least concerning hot selphies and instagram-promo.

I think so. CoCC already started out with a very bleak soundscape which adding up with it fizzling out halfway through kinda ruined it for me. BB is much "fuller" considering sound, lyricism and atmosphere. There is more to explore and come back to

Soooo I finally listened to the leak for the first time. Many users complained about the album having too many outtakes however Also, I think the tracklist is pretty messy Considering the outtakes All in all I really like that album and I think it will grow on me even more. It's a very good autumn/late summer album. It definitly has its flaws and could have been better but it's still a huge improvement after the uninspired CoCC. I don't see it surpassing NFR, HM or UV for me, but it will definitly take place 4 in my Lana album ranking for now.

The Thunder rework should not have happened. It sucked all of the momentum and energy out of the track. Even when the percussion finally kicks in it sounds kinda lame and the underusage of the backing singers is a crime

I really like the piano on this album. It has a slightly jazzy sound and feels vety ~orhanic compared to the stale and lifeless piano on CoCC

Thunder is still one of her best songs, however

If you just wanna get the standard CD then I guess it's easier to just get it at a local retailer or Amazon or whatever. Universal has pretty high shipping costs and tends to be late, so chances are you won't get the album next friday

I expected bad stuff to happen when I looked at some of the uploads on THAT site. The back cover of the brown cassette is a nice view though

It's amazing how she's releasing the exact same songs again and again every 5 years and the GP and critics celebrate it each time anew LOL This is one of her most forgettable takes on "emotional piano ballad with overdramatic vocals" so far though Especially since they will just get 25 2.0 21 3.0 anyway

And just like real veterans you get things mixed up in your dramatic little rant We have no proof that any of that has a correlation to the leak. Love just leaked so early that they released it much sooner than planned, which created that huge timespan between the lead-single and the actual album release.
