I'm not expecting to get that much out of this album either, because it's just too stripped back and samey to me. I am hoping that at least one of the songs on this album has interesting background instrumentals and serve as the TLY/MTWBT/HM of this album.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. I don't think that Marina collaborating with all these other artists is going to make her current music any better; that needs to come from Marina herself, and she really thinks that L+F is the greatest piece of work she has ever created. I wish she would just tell us what she's working on instead of getting everybody hyped up for what they think it could be, which could lead to disappointments.

To me it just comes off as trying too hard to be edgy because let's face it; people love cussing just for the hell of it. Also, it's just sound really awkward? Idgaf if it's supposedly "satire", either way it's still cringey as fuck. as for the song itself, I think it starts out very beautiful, but the chorus is such a let down. It's really those jarring adlibs at the end really put the nail in the coffin for me though, as it is otherwise still a pretty decent track and I love that it sounds like it's from UV.

personally I think TFJ is the best but EH will always be my favorite FROOT is that track. definitely one of her best, if not the best.

I have this theory that "hermit the frog" might be lyrically connected to "dirty sheets" "I should think before I kiss frogs who will never become princes" "they call him hermit the frog" I used to think that marina calling the guy she mentioned in the song a frog was just typical TFJ randomness, but in connection to "dirty sheets", this choice has more meaning behind it. It means that this guy she was seeing was just another "frog" who she knew would not become a prince.

I never said that paradise was bad It's just that it isn't as good as it used to be, especially compared to most of Lana's other albums.
