i can't believe lana is actually going to give us a bop. after honeymoon i was sure we would only get more slow songs.

y'all are crazy saying it was bad. it's unfortunate af that cherry & LFL got fucked over by the sound because the last 3 songs sounded AMAZING and lana's look was on point.

Not only is it unprofessional on his end but as well on ours.
er, what? this is his literal career so HE is the professional and it is his obligation to not be so messy. the fans aren't--we're not getting paid. if he doesn't know how to deal with lana's fanbase then he should get another job.
i'm not even mad about the release date. it is what it is, but his comments are unnecessary and petty. ofc fans are upset by the way this has been handled. he should take responsibility and DO BETTER.

It better be a double album after all of this
now that i have this idea in my head, i can't get it out! lana would be the perfect artist to release one, given her prolificness. it would be iconic.

i'm so confused by them editing the release date out?? why would she lana say it and then want it edited out? strange.

this seems unpopular--i'm actually enjoying this era! (i mean, despite her refusal to give us a clear release date, which is driving me crazy.)
i've been into lana since born to die came out and have been on lanaboards almost as long (under a different username then) so i've experienced every era in real time, but i have to say that i'm more obsessed than ever. i know a lot of fans are losing interest or are frustrated with lana, but this era is solid gold compared to honeymoon and even UV. this is the first time lana has been content and at peace with everything and it makes all the difference. i know UV is legendary now but experiencing that era was not enjoyable. i remember we got a plethora of magazine interviews but they were mostly worrying and disappointing. lana came off as ungrateful and immature and said regrettable things that embarrassed me as a fan. now her outlook has changed and it is very welcome. i feel like all this time i've been waiting for this side of lana to come alive, for her to stop focusing on the negativity that fame brought her and to instead use it to be a force of good. i'm happy she has decided to do just that, in her own lana way.

I doubt Lana will ever perform Lust for Life live unless she's with Abel cause it wouldn't really work solo
what? she could totally perform it solo. it would be very strange for her to never play the title track of the album, wouldn't it? ergh, she probably will use that as an excuse but it shouldn't be one.

How many songs do you think she'll do tonight? How long is the set?
isn't it like 35 minutes long?

You have “Trust no one” tattooed on your index… Have you often been betrayed?
Yes. I’ve never been good at chosing friends. But now it’s better, I know how to go about it. I’ve learned one thing, and that’s that people show you really quickly who they really are. You have to listen to them, and pay attention to the signs. In the past, sometimes I’ve had lovers who’ve told me strange things, things I should have found unacceptable, but I closed my eyes. That doesn’t happen to me anymore. At the smallest indication of something strange, I get out. A love story that doesn’t do you any good is toxic. I finally understand that.
i'm proud of her for realizing this and saying so--her younger fans who romanticize her songs about destructive relationships especially need to hear this. i'm just astounded by her growth and so excited to hear this album. i can't say it enough. i love where she is coming from this time around because this is what i wished for her, to realize what a good place she is in! the world is at her fingertips & she can do whatever she wants. that is powerful! magical, even! i hope she enjoys the fuck out of this era and really gives her all.

I still hear the backing vocals in the chorus saying "starway" not "stairway", is it just me?
100% sounds like starway. i have to wonder if it was intentional or not?

someone on facebook already complained about her writing a song about women and not the lgbt community and said she should've said God bless American and all the beautiful kids/people in it instead of women to include her male fans
lmao, fuck them. nothing can be about only women without someone whining.
i'm so pumped for this song!

this era is refreshing. i love this evolution of lana--mature, open, thinking on a grander scale. i think she's finally realized what a good position she is in to create her art and she appreciates it now. and talking about the women in her life, omg, my heart. i need to hear "god bless america" immediately.

the skips are horrible but they can't possibly be part of the final version???
anyway, i don't get the meltdowns. i am loving the vibe of this song and lana not singing about romantic love. contemplative lana is here and i have been ready!
it sounds like she is saying "starway" in the background vocals?
