I’ve always wondered, did Lana or Tim Larcombe write this line: “a freshman generation of degenerate beauty queens” What do you guys think? Personally, I think it sounds like something a writer’s room came up with. just doesn’t sound like Lana imo

haven’t been on in a few days, just seeing the thread title changed. can we no longer confirm the name of the album is Blue Banisters? -
in response to the recent discussions: You Can Be the Boss is NOT overrated. It was the second track on this CD I burned and I listened to it every day before school with my portable CD player and hearing all the little elements of it was so wonderful. There are so many hidden details that only come out when you really listen. It’s one of my favorites from her - a true bop I don’t understand the Yes to Heaven slander either. It’s gorgeous. The first several seconds of each version are just out of this world, the instrumentation is beautiful. I do agree that Serial Killer is a bit overrated, but it is still a fun song to sing and dance to and I enjoy listening to it. Queen of Disaster is nothing beautiful but it’s fun to jump around to and although it’s not one of her songs that I’ll listen to on repeat, it’s still a fun time whenever it comes on

I’ve been listening to Grimes more than Lana lately. I just started listening like a month and a half ago. Kill V. Maim is my all time favorite song of hers so far. My other favorites are California, We Appreciate Power, Genesis, Oblivion, Delete Forever, Butterfly, Violence, 4ÆM, Flesh Without Blood, Belly of the Beat, Venus Fly, REALiTi, Vowels= space and time, and Vanessa. There isn’t a Grimes song I’ve heard that I don’t like. Kill V. Maim was the first song of hers that I heard and is what got me to listen to the rest of her music. I can’t get enough of it

absolutely same! and the aka homemade videos

Lust for Life, Brite Lites, Money Power Glory, Dark Paradise, Summertime Sadness, Art Deco. The Dark Paradise demos made me appreciate the song more and I definitely prefer the demos. I prefer the demos for all of these except Brite Lites and obviously Art Deco

Like yeah winner and champ are similar I guess, but I think she says winter we’re not in cause she’s in Florida and it’s hot and not winter obviously -
