I'm really glad Victoria's Secret and Naked didn't make the cut, as well as Sagittarius and American Dream. They just don't fit. The one I really wanted to see in the album is Win Some, Lose Some. It wouldn't be harmful for the record to include it, but they should have a good reason not to do so. Well the file I found in dbree (there are tons of uploads for LA Money) was HQ to my ears. Not 320 kbps (as far as I know, it hasn't leaked in such a high quality), but at least a good 192 kbps.

I hate rankings, but I'll give mine on Plastic Hearts. Never Be Me Gimme What I Want Angels Like You Night Crawling Midnight Sky WTF Do I Know Plastic Hearts Hate Me Bad Karma High Golden G String Prisoner If Win Some, Lose Some, was included in the album, I would rank it between Night Crawling and Midnight Sky.
  3. Did she post a list with the songs recorded for Sawayama? where? I scrolled down her Instagram and found nothing - so either she deleted it or I'm blind. Besides, I guess I'm the only one excited for Lucid I mean, maybe it will be drastically different from the album in terms of quality, but it's Rina. I don't think she'll release something dreadful tbh. I don't (wanna) think BloodPop could ruin a Rina song.
  4. Nah, Sky is easily winning. Lorde and Rihanna have like half of the time than Sky has in the Hiatus category.

    Dua Lipa

I'd be six feet under if I borrow 1/256 of her career, tbh. What a legend with only two eras. Imagine her within 10 years.

My computer never showed those surveys you mentioned, sorry to hear that. To me, only Hate Me (2:37) and Gimme What I Want (2:31) really deserved a final chorus (they stop after the bridge that actually works as an outro), but that's easily solved. I slightly extended them to last for 3:05 and 2:53, respectively, and they are more enjoyable with those extra seconds.

    Charli XCX

I'm not manifesting it I- I was just saying, but I understand it. Charli has gotten all of us used to constantly feeding us, so it's completely normal to be hungry for more XCX tunes.

The ones I spotted the differences more easily as of now are WTF Do I Know (they added some instruments in the chorus and the overall production is more refined), Angels Like You (more polished production), Gimme What I Want (more polished production) and I think that's that. I didn't feel like Plastic Hearts, Night Crawling and Hate Me changed much, but I may be missing something. As for Bad Karma, it has a slightly different production and, obviously, the addition of Joan Jett's vocals. And, of course, Golden G String is way better than the demo that leaked before. Also, I didn't hear the High demo when it leaked, but the final version is a cute listen. My top 3: Gimme What I Want, Angels Like You and Never Be Me, but Night Crawling and Midnight Sky are very close. Least favourite: Prisoner. Also, in case you wanna use it, I cropped the full colour version of the cover:

Am I the only one who wants Charli to rest for a year at least? Queen has been SERVING BOPS but Queen has to rest, too. I wouldn't mind her next body of work arrive by late 2021. Her material is quite prolific.

I allowed myself to get the leaked files as I'm waiting for my CD to arrive sometime soon, and I gotta say the final mixes of the songs are amazing. Bish came to WIN. Super album.

Yeah, Started and Sally Walker are the only highlights from that project. Iggy can do better - but I won't fulfill the Charli thread with Iggy comments That said, daily reminder of how good White Dress is, even for an unfinished demo. The melody, the production...
  12. Here: https://dbree.org/v/bc8285 Well, this version does not have the intro featured in the vinyl, but it's HQ, and it's the one I'm using.
  13. I highly disagree. Not every song in the album has commercial potential to push a proper promotion for the record. The quality of the songs is amazing, nonetheless, but talking about potential hits... I'd just think about the following as a probably successful singles rollout: positions motive just like magic my hair (or safety net) pov Other than that, I think many of the tracks in the album are not single-material, even though they are great. Let's see what they choose to release next.

Night Crawling is a rock/disco tinged track that SLAPS. Still one of my faves.
  15. This says "Jealousy [OG]": https://dbree.org/v/b88b49 It is actually 320 kbps. Jealousy in HQ finally guys! OMG I'M CTFU
  16. Can you imagine being this tasteless?

It's easily my least favourite track on the album, but I don't dislike it. So I hope it grows on me. However, I think it's weird to place it between Angels Like You and Gimme What I Want in the track listing, I consider them both to be some of the strongest songs in the record.
  18. It does! I did a version of it. I know a couple don't belong, but they actually fit sonically, so wth.

I played it at different spots and liked what I've heard, but I want it to officially premiere to hear it in full. Can't wait!
  20. He is collaborating with Justin Bieber. I'm out.
  21. I guess that from the singles she's been releasing, the one I truly love is Fucking Crazy. The rest are from meh to fine, but that's that. The Devil Made Me Do It is catchy but the melody is hella annoying to me that I have mixed feelings about it. Make It Through the Day is a good lyrical piece, but the production seemed quite average - though it fits the rest of the tracks. Anyways, this series of single releases left me wanting more songs from her. Let's see if she releases something soon.

ALERT: Fucking screamer at the end. That said, it intrigued me. I thought it would include a clip of the track, but it just made me anxious about it

  24. I still think motive, safety net or just like magic were better options for single and visual than 34+35 tbh. Anyways, the album has kinda grown in me, so I'm glad she's promoting it.
  25. I listened to the song and... hum... I like the sound and her vocals, she sounds very good. I just don't like her songwriting in this one (I love the message, but the way it's written is kinda mediocre imo), and that's happened to me since Love + Fear. I shortly enjoy that material tbh. To me, Electra Heart and Froot show better songwriting than many songs in L+F and Man's World. As for TFJ, I'm not too familiar with it yet, so I can't judge what I haven't heard. But I wanna enjoy Marina's work again, so I'm saving hopes for the album.
