I actually love MYTP but I get your point. Truly, she should drop two more singles between right now and the release date, she has plenty of good options The album is really good. Quality is not unlistenable but it definitely bugs at some parts. Particularly the second half sounds a little less clear than the songs in the first half.

this seems to hit the right spot! at least in the standard version. haven't heard 3am but i also feel by the comments I've read that it would be better as a sort of companion EP rather than just bonus tracks tacked at the end. lemme listen in this order ma'am <3

y'all I'm in the minority who actually enjoyed most of this album. I have yet to listen to the deluxe but the standard was pretty decent imo. came without expectations and it worked i guess? Faves: Midnight Rain, Maroon, Sweet Nothing, Question...?, Vigilante Shit, even Snow on the Beach at some extent. I need more time with Karma, Mastermind and Labyrinth, but overall I don't actively hate anything here.

but I think an EP would have sufficed at least. Downhill Lullaby, Don't Forget, Guardian, Pray for Rain, Descending, Voices Carry 'final'.

dddd sometimes i criticise lyricism but not in that tone lmao wtf is up with them. i think it's pretty fair to criticise songwriting because it's an element of the song, just as instrumentals, vocal performance, even mixing can be called out. but of course, there are proper ways to signalise that. what does "buzzfeed ass lyrics" even mean and off topic but Unholy sucks in every possible way.

Okay so I haven't finished listening (lmao I've heard only the first 5 tracks) but I don't hate it? i know the lyrical blandness is very evident at times, but I actually enjoy the songs nonetheless. And Snow on the Beach was better than I remembered still not excellence, but way better than my first listen. I'm hopeful for the other 16 songs.

ok so apparently two (it was said a "couple", but not a few, just "a couple" so I'm guessing it's literally 2) songs from Problématique are still going to be released in the new record which lead single is If Jesus Was a Rockstar. Which ones do we think are making it? I think Revelations and All She Wants have the highest chances. The former was performed live (same as HIFTB but I don't think this one will be released ) and the latter was referred to by Paris after the album was announced to have been scrapped methinks. inb4 it ends up being Treat Me Like a H0e and Runway Walk

you won't be disappointed that's all I'm gonna say I need it in HQ so bad also, streets are saying more vinyls shipped very recently, so they are not stopping the shippings it's like they are screaming and begging for the era to be ruined ffs. I fear an HQ leak is closer.

ugh, I really hope Lana gets to meet peace because these people can't seem to leave her alone and it's her right to be and feel safe. here's to hoping it doesn't negatively impact in herself, and at an extent, in whatever she had planned for the era.

inb4 I'll be making "Snow on the Beach (Lana's Version)" and it will flop but at least will be there lmao. No but for real, I'd definitely try something out with it. Though on a first listen I was not a fan tbh.

Besides Art Angels and Miss Anthropocene, Visions is the other album of hers I revisit constantly. I've had moments where I have played Geidi Primes or Halfaxa and they're cute but not as impressive or powerful as her other material. The Darkbloom EP? We don't know her. I'm really here for Book 1 even if it feels kinda generic because I vibe to Shinigami Eyes and Player of Games (and the shitton of snippets she played in TikTok 2020-2021, particularly 100% Tragedy which sounded really good) but they're nowhere to be found

I'm so disappointed, BUT all I can say is: 1) if she gets credits as if she was a co-lead or featured artist she will get those $$ so bring it on gurl 2) at least the hype brings attention to Lana too so it's fine on her side 3) I think this was a better output than if it surprisingly popped out in the Wikipedia tracklist notes section as ""Snow on the Beach" features uncredited background vocals by Lana Del Rey", which probably would have brought her zero $$ so okay. of course i will not be using (as roughly any other Lana feature where she does BGV only tbh), but hope other people enjoy it.
