Not me becoming a Lover apologist I mean I use: Cruel Summer The Archer I Think He Knows Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince Soon You'll Get Better (feat. Dixie Chicks) Cornelia Street Death By a Thousand Cuts London Boy False God You Need to Calm Down Afterglow Daylight and to me that's way superior than the actual album. but Midnights definitely overshadowed Lover, that's a fact.
-
having It's Nice to Have a Friend over Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince no but we agree that it's a very fluffed album. 12-track would've sufficed imo.

Carly Rae Jepsen - Dedicated (2019) This one hurt ngl, I really love both albums as they are besides a couple tracks, but I thought it'd be nice to reimagine the era with one album only. Julien This Love Isn't Crazy No Drug Like Me Now That I Found You Stay Away Happy Not Knowing Heartbeat Summer Love Fake Mona Lisa Too Much Always on My Mind Let's Be Friends Party for One This Is What They Say Deluxe edition bonus track Let's Sort the Whole Thing Out Deluxe edition bonus track Automatically in Love Deluxe edition bonus track

I'd rank her albums as follows: Treat Myself (2018) > Treat Myself (2020) > Thank You > Title >>>>>>> Takin' It Back. The first two have some great tracks in them.
-
oh whoa has she had leaks recently? i don't think i've known of any yet, besides years-old leaks from ages ago, pre-Speak Now and stuff. would be cool to get newer songs to leak tbh. 1989, rep and lover outtakes would be interesting!
-
because a couple songs from Title went viral on TikTok iirc. at least title track (no pun intended) and i'm not sure if any other from the era, but apparently that was a factor. bad move if you ask me but it only takes me to read the title to have the schewpid chorus in my head and it's not a compliment Meghan Here, you beat me to it bestie Yeah, she shouldn't have taken it back, wasn't a good decision. will (very) lowkey wait for MT5 for something better.

Okay, I'll have to snatch The Loneliest Time in my top 5 like I knew she'd come for a spot but didn't know it would take me so little to decide it lol. -
with the latest album? no thank you ngl I don't really like Takin' It Back, it was very mid and besides only 4 or 5 songs it has no reply value. iirc the only ones i liked were Sensitive, Bad for Me (???), Lucky, Dance About It and High Maintenance, which is actually an outtake lmao. I find Made You Look, Don't I Make It Look Easy and Shook annoying af, and Breezy is plain bad lol. So sad Treat Myself flopped. Both versions are her magnum opuses imo. She should've done a 'side B' with plenty of the outtakes from the 2018 version, that would've been better than... the Christmas album And Thank You was ahead of its time. If No was released in 2021 it would've done way better than back in 2016.

wasn't it because it leaked almost completely after Boys? + the two singles flopping etc.
-
Ha, if I had to choose a top 5 from unreleased, I'd choose these: Jealousy Water Under the Bridge Scab & Plaster Demons + Angels Please Don't Call Me
-
THANK YOU! This is pure gold <3
-
let's hope for True Romance title track for xcxmas. if.

Me if I don't see Hold the Girl in any of y'all's top 10 albums of the year

My top 10 albums this year is probably as follows: Florence + the Machine - Dance Fever AURORA - The Gods We Can Touch Skylar Grey - Skylar Grey Rina Sawayama - Hold the Girl Taylor Swift - Midnights Charli XCX - Crash Giusy Ferreri - Cortometraggi McKenna Michels - Enlightenment FKA twigs - CAPRISONGS Tove Lo - Dirt Femme Honorable mentions to Bastille's Give Me the Future and Ava Max's Diamonds & Dancefloors, the latter being postponed to January but in my head it is 2022 so. And I haven't listened yet to Carly Rae Jepsen's The Loneliest Time, River Westin's The Honeymoon Suite and Björk's Fossora but I just KNOW they would make it to my top 10 so probably before the year ends I'll make it a top 15 to fit all these lmao. -
she could actually mean autumn... 2030 it's giving Sky Ferreira and I'm NOT here for it
-
no but i thought it was actually a thing lol i'm with y'all, we should get some Lorde leaks. i fear she's not using any of those but i remember her saying we would get the Melodrama outtakes. where are they ma'am
