All the official singles before happened with something along (even with shelved stuff\albuns that turned into EPs) 17 (May) - One (August) - Obsession (September) - 2010 Sex Rules (March) - As If (March) - 2011 Red Lips (July) - Ghost (October) - 2012 You're Not the One (September) - NTMT (October) - 2013 ok she performed YNTO like 2012 and it took almost one year to be released (?) but once it was released at all.... didn't take so long. also looking at it at least she used to release music every year NNNNNN

That super sunset introduction video... I was shook. The Girl Of The Year instrumental, the dramatic narration... Just iconic. I missed music videos. I had some crazy ideas about visuals featuring more than one song (and everything would go on from where "All The Rage" left so...) I think I already mentioned it here so whatever. Hopefully next era will be... on a better budget.

No but, for real, this time around she's really trying to make some hype. Usually it's, at max, 2 days teasing and like "Yes next month" or "Winter for sure". This time around it's a "close" timeline and has been saying stuff for days. It's awkward she didn't drop an official date but I'm perched.

I love Damaged Nail. Wish we had it in HQ tho so it wouldn't blow my speakers. - I hope for CLX III she'll be able to deliver things on a better rollout. I always thought Super Sunset would be kind of a "side-project" because of the EP having such a peculiar styling and looking so different from everything she had done til then. She had done so many magazines\shoots and events by now that I just can't imagine she won't be able to have a small budget to shot a real music video for the lead single this time around and release it all correctly. For all the other records I can picture why of all the fucks up (the CLX II delay, Super Sunset starting point was that Hayley girl tour she opened). Now if she start debuting new music on tour with Ionnalee... I guess it's over for a good roll out but lol

I like it + the adlibs are cute, but she hyped the whole thing so much and it was just Verité doing... her verse from the original version. + That whole teasing with texting that led me to believe there would be some iconic low-budget-with-storyline video for the song. It turned out to be... welll... that.

Super Sunset fuckery was the 6 months froot-looks-familiar-roll out that ended up spoiling the whole record, because for real I just cannot imagine how I would deal to listen to Science + GOTY + Little Things all together without being months-in-between overplaying every song.

No super sunset will be tolerated but at same time: Thought the same earlier listening to CLX I on my way to college. I wonder how long it took her to pick up all these songs, specially when we know that stuff like "Never Enough" was done in 2013 and added later on the record on the re-release. CLX II started to lack this when she threw a lot of songs together for the sake of having an album, but it's still great. I just wish Super Sunset was longer because Science + Girl Of The Year are probably both top5 in her career. And it's funny how after listening to Never Enough this morning I could totally picture how Super Sunset goes from the same vibe, but sounding "dirtier" and "raw" while the othe records go way more polished.

Superstar is a lot of attempts. I tried going back but It's just not clicking *sad face*. But that whole "I love how hard we work \ You're my superstar" like... ok girl. I'd say Handmade Heaven gave me "faux-deep" lyrics but they're cute. Superstar is just "silly". But It's nice to see that not everyone is "unpleased" and it being 50\50 shows that everyone just have different opinions. It could be so much worst and everyone agree that it was bad

Sheezus sound a bit generic and the sound was tired before it was released (+some clear attempts of having a song that would "Smash"). There's still amazing songs like Hard Out Here, Miserable Without Your Love and many others that are just great. But the whole thing just... lacks. And guess what? Lily was married\in love Popstars can't be in love confirmed. n

It's my guilty pleasure but I can picture this happening right now with Marina I wonder how "You" really sounds by now.

Everytime I play Superstar and the trap-lite-drums kicks in I just think it's Karma from the other day when we were judging saying that Lana should take notes with Marina about how to release an album. I really tried to get along with the song and I can tell you it grew a little but it's still... nothing special. And by this + Emotional Machine Live + Handmade Heaven you can already trace it down about the way the album will sound. + Baby is not really different from all the stuff we've heard so far. I am having a little meltdown but it will be ok. In a perfect world she's lowkey living the popstar fantasy and showing us that LOVE songs are always bad and Fear will slay.
