I must confess I also find it... extremely odd she's announcing the tour with the album after the way she mentioned that Neon Nature was dragging her. I guess we'll have 2 singles from the whole thing and we'll deal. If it was a "Festival" thing... but it sounded like a full tour plan.

Well it's pop music. I'm still waiting for the dropping-moment where she'll dye her real hair Blonde and people will finally stop checking on her then. Honestly she was good because she arrived with STRIKING pop music. Catch, Prime, Old Habits Die Hard. She's still serving MUSIC. I don't think she's ever trying to "social climb" over anyone. She always did collabs with random people (The cover band before she was "famous", One day and one Night, Stupid Hat, Chainsmokers song before they were famous) and the things don't sound "forced" now. I see some people actually loving over the drag-persona (which for me is a bit whatever but if she's having fun... alright sis). I'm super excited for the Ionnalee tour. Never expected 2 my favs together COLLAB.

This song. This is some next level shit. That hybrid of 80's but peruvian flute, the feeling of "you either go up or down"... Super Sunset IS THAT RECORD. In a perfect world she would have managed to create a small film with all the songs tucked together. It could be so amazing something like "Hollywood Starlet sells her soul out for fame but finds herself struggling to understand why it feels so empty (Girl Of the Year - Not So Bad in LA - Can't Stop Now - Little Things) but then falls in love with some creature and goes missing forever into like a vaporwave world or so (Focus-Science)"

It just gets boring to play a character. Yes I really loved the whole misterious-persona and X thing between 2015-2016 but I don't feel like "WELL THAT WAS ALLIE X!! SHE CAN'T CHANGE". Checking stuff like her tweets from before 2015 and now 2018\2019, it feels much more friendly\the same person than... what she was doing for CLX I. She also never denied wanting to be bigger, she's still chasing her dream and her music is still good so I'm not really bothered at all. I'm really happy she's managing to do so many incredible things on her own since she's like... not even signed to a real label. It's a lot of work behind the scenes to get everything together. She has been serving looks and living a real fantasy with visuals. Apart from that, not much happening so we don't have a lot to comment. It's just waiting til the next era or so. Super Sunset was a great concept with a messy rollout that ended up burning part of the experience, yet it's still an incredible record.

Yes they did, check diamond garden I guess it's there! I believe she will drop everything all together (cover+pre order+tracklist). Marina feels the type of artist that really gets everything together before starting the era, so if she managed to shot Handmade Heaven without dropping any clue, the album cover and everything is probably ready as well. Didn't she say in that note last year that she was going to mix\master the album in LA in late Autumn? It's been enough to finish stuff. Praying that she'll drop this record in April and another single in March

It's just pointless to compare this with... iamamiwhoami. Because let's be honest this is cute and nothing else. And it's basically the same thing from Immortal but this time the projection isn't real-on-her-face. It's just a bunch of (beautiful) footage of her in snow and... random flower shots. It's simple but effective... but def not "her best." But it's odd they decided to even go with such a ballad for the lead, I'm curious about what the fuck they're really doing.

There was a Neon Nature date where she people were screaming Buy the Stars and she really went "BUY THE STARS IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN" then people were like "wow bitch" and she kinda tried to make it up "Well, maybe someday." She never performed the song before and I don't think she ever spoke about it. She performed all the other Electra Heart songs at least once tho. She could always change the key for the song tho, not sure if it's really a live problem. But it's more like how she cut it from the USA edition of the album and really erased it. While on subject for live performances, I'd like to mention how she just killed with Neon Nature??? I can't sing lies without going on a deeper voice on "Worth the FIGHT" like she did while singing it. Or the amazing Obsessions "Ohoh ohhhhhh" Once I saw a video on facebook and it was "expectatition x reality" and it was obsessions playing on a phone and then going into neon nature live and the video was so flawless. I never found that video again\or the right tour date from where the "LIVE" bit was took. Also: Lies Bridge from Lonely Hearts. A moment.

I really wish we knew why Marina really doesn't "like" Buy the stars. No idea if it's too personal or what.

I wonder if the falses promises were trying to pressure the label. Sounds stupid but it seems pretty commom for people to just go around "If the label says no then I'll leak the whole thing" etc. And then you think that people like Lady Gaga herself already leaked songs just to put pressure on label so.

The worst scenario I can imagine is a "HAIM-ESQUE" situation where the follow up took too long to come and then people were not... into it... at all (I love Something To Tell You but I understand that people disliked it after so long). The whole teasing-delaying doesn't help her either so honestly idk. I feel like she tries sometimes but it's really some type of Limbo. Charli went through a lot as well between Sucker-Mixtapes-Third album but it pretty much feels just like Sky BEFORE NTMT. How many EP's were released and planned before the album came out? the titles change with sounds shift....

Following the timeline post itself, you can see she started and "had a vision" already from the first note about the record. "November 21st 2014 - In an interview with Billboard, Sky announces that she is already working on her sophomore album and describes its sound as "heavier"and "a blend of everything". The same night, she at a concert in LA." Guardian performed means she already had songs that were halfway there at least. Then she officially announced the title "April 6th 2015 - Sky updates her Instagram bio to include 'Masochism' alongside 'Night Time, My Time', fuelling speculation that it is the name of her upcoming sophomore album. She later confirms this on Twitter." I don't think anybody goes "Well I'm gonna call my album X now let's see what it will be." She already had a clear state of mind about these songs if she created a concept. She then shot music video for Guardian...That means even the visual aspects of the record were already created. This goes deeper in 2016 with the Playboy Shoot (September) and everything. Theeen we go into 2017 where she goes "March 21st - Sky tweets that her album is "starting to shape up quite nicely" inside of her head." but how is it only shaping up now if she already had visual concepts, songs, music videos and everything to start the campaign? and suddenly is when the whole "Visual EP" thing probably started til it was meant to be released in February 2018. In this halftime she mentioned music videos coming "real soon", new music, new pics introducing the visual... and then nothing happened. I'm pretty sure Voices Carry was going to be part of whatever this was going to be. So yes I believe the album has been done and re-done already, just like all the versions of Night Time My Time before... you know... the official. But this is really odd and I feel that this time around she has been doing everything on her own without any support of the label from the start, and this can cost a lot. It would explain all the random ADS, Magazines, Film Roles and everything she did.

The thing is that, at this point, we just know she DOES have music done. It's impossible to imagine she shot GOD KNOWS how many music videos for these songs yet they're locked. And I'm talking about Guardian\Voices Carry. There's really something "off" about the whole thing.
