Sounds halfway a Hughes song meets Allie X but it doesn't go anywhere near both excellences. Of course if they release it now it will proabably sound another thing... yeah. But the lyrics are great.

So it seems that KweenEclipse shared some tea about the new record and it sound good. I haven't seen it by myself but the brazilian fan website put all the infos together and: - Heard 9 songs - There's a song where she's singing in spanish and it seems to have a rapper featured on it. Probably the only collab. - Songs are like HTBAH and Blue - Main theme seems to be self-acceptance - "Emotional Machine" and "There's Nothing Wrong With You" are done - Emotional Machine lyrics: "My God is dying silently, nobody believes I'm a machine" - Only 1 or 2 ballads for now So it's like an uptempo version of froot and probably more electronic. Looking at Emotional Machine after having a song "I'm not a Robot" this is really... queen. BTW I translated these that were already translated from original english so there might be some wrong info but ehh someone check his twitter

It's a real song as well but too bad it's basically Downtown with another chorus since that BVG is still on the song nnnn Leak lifeline.

To be honest this was meant to be so real and then I remember it's Lana; the million versions of Young & Beautiful at Gatsby + Life is Beautiful + Big Eyes songs that didn't make the cut and I just cracked However yes there's no reason to do a big deal. Will be cute to have it and I imagine how amazing for Lana but it's unlikely they'd do anything more

Listened to Disconnect the other day and it's just damn good. It's not a masterpiece but I'd love to hear the record going for something upbeat into "Disco" zone. (I mean FROOT (song) is a masterpiece.) Read "Marina producing it" got me feeling of the re-release of Gimme The Money

Ok I was about to Re-Edit "The Story of X" video with GOOD but replaced with Alexandra instead because both were almost same lenght. And I just passed out and how when she sings "but she ran away" it shows herself crawling on the floor "Could not keep her safe" goes into the Cage scene with Mayo At the first "Alexandra" before the chorus, it's closing on her while she's inside that box like a coffin and then... and the best: The "spinning" scene (Allie + Shadow) and then both falling just right before the second chorus an eXperience, kids...

The BITCH remix video could fit perfectly into... GOOD. Or maybe the original song. But that remix is just... I'd rather not think about it. Catch remains unbothered. It's quite funny, all her videos are just like... lot of random footage put together but they used to work, while Paper Love\Casanova just feels flat. I guess it's all about the visuals And I don't think there will be a "Focus" video. At least not now... Maybe by December when the song is already forgotten. But really praying that the next song will get a "first single" treatment...

Looking at it now I can see why people really praised songs like Too Much To Dream & All The Rage (and the original OHDH) and got upset when they didn't make the cut. They were all "punch-y" songs (is this like the right expression I have no idea of what I'm saying nn), they were uptempo, etc. Things on CLX II are all into "midtempo", and even the "bops" are just way too slow and miss the "frenetic" feeling over it I guess. Focus goes by the same.

The song is great, you can keep it on repeat and it won't get "tiring" but at same time it's really... I mean it's totally CLX II-Chillwave. It sounds like a modern twist over an 80's inspired tho, it's good, but I'm hoping for some...more "HIT-IN-THE-FACE" type of stuff like Prime, Good etc. When I listened to Focus I really got Need You-Never Enough-Old Habits Die Hard and one "the 1975" song which I can't remember the name, all put in a blender.
