Super Sunset def feels a bit "Unsolved" realness but this time without all the fuckery around it. I think she def. will be back to CLX thing later, probably as a full lenght album like CLX II. At same time it's a bit odd the way she really teased about "CLX III" since last year and suddenly new project popped up. I'd say Super Sunset was meant to be the thing before she realized it could be better on it's own, as a brand new thing. And I like it.

is the Intervention song the one that sound like beach? I think it's really one of the few ones I couldn't bother to download dddd and I do own Stupid Hat DDDD. I think she wantes to be bigger with CLX II. She already mentioned some kind of regret of not having a label deal because it's impossible to get radio support in USA without a Label. I think the sound-switch and everything was also a way to try on her own to be a "spotify-darling" at least without losing all her character while joining a real-big-label. Right now I think it could be great for her to get a real deal since she seems to have a nice balance between the commercial and the conceptual. Label would probably help her funding videos and some possible promo (I mean if somehow they managed to send 3 songs from CLX II to radio, then...) But I also don't think Super Sunset will be so driven to call people's attention on chill playlists.

Song is great, didn't expect it. Diplo did a good job. Lyrics are a bit off(and vocals) but however, it's great compared to the stuff released before. This should be the follow up to lowlife

What I wished was that Atlantic\MissXCX could release the "original party album" as another mixtape and then finally feel free to do her own new music without fans bugging about "Well We don't Have COME TO MY PARTY in HQ but we also want to hear new stuff". It would be the perfect way to drop the songs legally, in good quality, the way they were meant to be heard and let it die since there's no need to promote it any further. If she's just dropping songs that are "so close to her heart" like Girls Night Out and No Angel on Spotify just for the sake of doing it.... I feel like it would be a "nice closure" for this whole mess that started with delaying the album for months til it leaked. It feels like she's stuck somewhere in chaos with the whole situation of having many "unreleased songs" that fans actually have and put pressure about having them in "FINAL FORM" (aka their spotify playlists) and trying to always move forward with new stuff. That's the only reason I can think of why ignoring the full batch of songs from the original XCX3 but creating 2 full albuns and call them "mixtapes" when both also sound unique on their own way. omg never ever listened of this and I was such a freak in 2012\2013 with everything that could be a demo\instrumental\snippet from ARTPOP lmao But unlikely to be real since we have the concept demo for Applause and it sound pretty much the same chorus melody we had on the final. Last month (actually the month before, June) went 1 year since we got the first batches of stuff leaking and it was just magical. Honestly, 2017 was worth alone by the thousand demos we got lmao.

These 2 posts back to back were an EXPERIENCE to read Well, great show and how she showed some love to Honeymoon with The Blackest Day acapella. The haunted snippets lord if you want to tease at least do it HQ and not the song playing in your room while there's an air conditioner turned on somewhere next. But it's cute. I've read about it recently and how she went for "dollhouse ep" instead of this acoustic project. Too bad the character development really ended up taking over the music and lyrics in general. Not "BAD" but you guys get it lol. This second record seems to be way more "free" to put some new experiences with the whole city aesthetic.

One thing I gotta praise her is the way she decided to left some good songs out of Cry Baby just because they didn't "fit the storyline" that she created (and goes really "solid" btw). I think the bad side is the way it all kinda backfired for some people that find the music to be just bland But her lyrics like Night Mime and Bombs are just really deep and such beautiful cuts. They're somehow a nice hybrid of the whole "aesthetic" but her vision over the real world around us\everybody
