Oh my god she asked if she had fans on Japan the other days probably because of the sutitles on the Focus lyric video YET SHE MANAGED TO GET A TYPO ON THE PREVIEW\SNIPPET NNNN Her mind...

Looking at it now I can see why people really praised songs like Too Much To Dream & All The Rage (and the original OHDH) and got upset when they didn't make the cut. They were all "punch-y" songs (is this like the right expression I have no idea of what I'm saying nn), they were uptempo, etc. Things on CLX II are all into "midtempo", and even the "bops" are just way too slow and miss the "frenetic" feeling over it I guess. Focus goes by the same.

The song is great, you can keep it on repeat and it won't get "tiring" but at same time it's really... I mean it's totally CLX II-Chillwave. It sounds like a modern twist over an 80's inspired tho, it's good, but I'm hoping for some...more "HIT-IN-THE-FACE" type of stuff like Prime, Good etc. When I listened to Focus I really got Need You-Never Enough-Old Habits Die Hard and one "the 1975" song which I can't remember the name, all put in a blender.

As I suspected\We mentioned, the "Offering" snippet is actually part of Downtown stems It's the last chorus. "Allie FX STEM". Funny because it's also my fav part in the full song, the backing vocals are sublime and she's saying Offering.

Exactly. I think there's something that really pulls me away from casanova. I like it, but it seems that every other version of the song keeps me way more "into it" than the final album version. -- Just listened to Focus in full, I would wait til tomorrow but who cares. It's great but feels a bit "bland". The high vocals were missed on the studio.... It's def a cute song but it feels like a "speed-up" version of Need You or so.

Just listened to her snippet on Facebook and already... I just cannot believe this is the second time the live will be better than studio nn

Glam is really that type of song that would just explode if it was released in 2012. Electropop at it's finest. Gays would probably go crazy. In other news can someone leak focus already, craving it

Mixed feelings because I love the ~vintage (?)~ aesthetic but that thing on her face... is it actually make up or what but it just doesn't work for me. The snippet sound great, reminds me of Lorde's liability reprise with that voocoder even thought there's nothing like and I'm just craving new music. Exciting times!!!

btw i take "focus is the weakest" back. If it sound this great live, there are endless possibilites of being even better on studio, because most of the songs are great live but appart from Casanova I don't think there's any other that sound better live

This is already way more attractive than "searching for myself" for CLX II. If this is about Focus, then we have a song called "Not so bad in L.A.", seems like the city might be the main point for the record. Welll......... You have some points I think it's actually nice, she's probably into checking what "pop stans" are saying in general and not really "her fanbase" because that's haunting.

I just... for real the fact no name change was announced... but she probably wrote more than 1 album already with this long wait. Back in 2015\2016 it felt like it was already halfway there, the way she teased everything... With 1 intro and 2 interludes in the middle

At this point I expect ~Masochist~ to be a double album with 13 tracks each CD. That's the only plausible reason to keep mixing something that was meant to be out like 2 years ago or so.

and sadly that was mainly the reason all her singles just don't work out nnn I used to hope that someday she would kinda "get it right" with her "team" but after froot and "I kinda like the place where I'm right now" while talking about Fame... Feels like it will just... keep the same mess It's kinda sad cuz sometimes I feel that Marina really had potential to be "a name" sometimes. Not like the A-List Popstar selling out arenas etc, but she could get her singles at least charting inside top30 or something (at least in UK nnn). I'm not sure how things used to work back then, but I've always wondered how or why the HTBAH video was released in like mid\end 2012 but the single itself was released only in 2013 (source: wikipedia) ?? like, the only promo the song had was basically that video and the single was released months after??
