Also Born To Die, remember the "album sampler" with many unreleaseds that if were somehow on the final cut, would turn into a giant mess. 13 beaches & Lust For Life could be old songs but they were all re-done. 13 beaches from that Something Real demo and Lust For Life have already like 3 versions that are probably all different. The first demo was a ballad. With synths and Pads. The Max Martin version, where one of the verses turned into the chorus (meaning there was another chorus) and it was probably more Pop oriented than the final version. It seems like the transition for the verse-chorus is from the Max Martin demo but they re-worked the whole thing from "singing" to "talking" on the verses for the: final version, with The Weeknd

She mentioned they recorded UV like... really quick and that mixing was the main issue\took time. And while UV was being mixed\mastered, she started to write songs that would turn into Honeymoon Also the producers and team in general already told how she would do really few takes for Ultraviolence and try to keep it like that, and even the guy that mastered the whole thing mentioned that they keept some of the mixes just like they came straight from Dan's studio and really didn't touch anything, so like, the songs were like "almost finished demos" and just stayed like that on the final release. But it works on the album

She's a bit awkward but I can imagine what goes inside her head. The thing with "long breaks" is that u start creating and as time keeps going, you start to change your mind\get new ideas\dislike old stuff and even end up forgetting older stuff you've done in the process. I think that's mainly the problem with Lust For Life, she just started to mess around and picked new ideas for the album. You can clearly see how the second half is older\goes into the "folk-ish\Acoustic" inspired songs while the first half is mixed with trap beats mainly. It's all about... mindset.

Money wouldn't be a problem for her if we take a look at the fact her biggest music videos came from the 2 first records, including a damn short-film that she really paid for... By now she released 3 records, made 2 officials tours and many other festivals that really give her some $$$$. The problem is............................................Lana doing the right thing n But dreaming. I really liked all the lust for life videos looking back now. They're a bit monotonous but production-wise they're all beautiful and well crafted, just missed a real plot happening.

Ya know thinking about it right now there might be something "bad" behind it that we really don't know. Sometimes the song was scrapped without her real consent or something like that and, like, mentioning it "before" was ok but she just probably don't want to think about it for now. I'll always laugh that she mentioned about the record being "around 18 songs" and then we know 3 outtakes (Roses, Best American Record and Yosemite) and it end up having 16... I really feel something happened behind the curtain. And there also might be the thing that she wasn't "feeling ready" to perform it or whatever. All of them have their own ways and it's great. BTS is super raw & emotional, Numb feels really "epic" & confessional, Happy is this hybrid, really "organic" but still more produced than BTS.

Both ended Happy hun and idk I think both are too different. Numb feels a bit more melodramatic while BTS feels way more "raw". Unpopular Opinion time: I used to like rootless way more than Numb back then but I don't really care about it now nn

I believe this is the "Official" version for the fanbase thanks for the uppload btw Appart from this, there are some real good remasters. I remember downloading a mixtape like back in 2011 and it had this amazing remast of the song, sounded really good.
