  1. Looking at this stuff makes me feel bad about mine. I wouldn't even dare to post a picture of it right now because not even the Sirens songs are in order, so far I've got 174 songs, 129 of them are 'Unknown album', the only songs that are in order are BTD/Paradise and UV. God, I need to sort them at least a bit. Though I really like the order (probably I don't even 'like' it and I'm just used to it).
  2. Tbh I was so excited when I heard that Lana would call her new album Ultraviolence because I ADORE A Clockwork Orange (if it's possible to adore a movie like that but you get the point) and it would be my fave singer + my fave movie = BEST FUCKING ALBUM. I was already seeing Lana go full droogie on the cover and in the songs. Then I've listened to West Coast, saw the cover art and GOD, was I disappointed. I love the album, it's not that it makes it worse - but I was hoping for more Clockwork Orange references than only the title. (Don't know if 'unpopular opinion' or only 'no one gives a fuck about that except me'.)
  3. Oh my god, I would have LOVED to be there! Must have been an amazing show, what a shame I didn't go but it would have been too complicated in my case right now.. I think everyone had a wonderful night. Ah, and looked SO pretty on the pictures! I'm a jealous lil shit right now.
  4. Red White Blue Queen: 1. Raise Me Up 2. Queen Of The Gas Station 3. Ghetto Baby 4. Come When You Call Me 5. Summer Of Sam 6. National Anthem (Demo) 7. Axl Rose Husband 8. St. Tropez 9. Daytona Meth 10. Westbound 11. Hollywood's Dead 12. Gramma 13. Elvis 14. Dangerous Girl 15. Miss America 16. Diet Mountain Dew It's my (probably poor) attempt to create a playlist that really gives an American feel while listening to the songs and lyrics. I don't know if I'm good at flows and stuff but I kinda like it. Well, I think there's something still lacking in it - anyone has any idea which songs would thematically and acoustically fit in such a playlist or which of these songs don't? Also I really need to create a Road Trip kind of playlist that I can listen to on my road trip in America but I don't know where to start. I'd love to get some ideas. Your playlists are all pretty awesome.
  5. M.F.P.O.T.Y. by Cher Lloyd. I love her. Cleaning up the room to her music can almost be called 'fun'. Almost.
  6. Cool, danke! Direkt mal teilgenommen, bei meinem Glück wird das aber eh nix. Versuchen kann man es ja mal.
  7. American Horror Story is one of my favorite shows, watched Murder House twice, going to watch Asylum a second time, Coven was good too but not my favorite, it was too much about removed eyes lol. (I'm alright with cut off body parts and guts and everything in movies and shows but I can't deal with cut out eyes, don't even ask) Can't wait for Freakshow tbh. Ah, and Jessica Lange is perfection.
  8. This would be awesome too but I don't think it would fit on BTD or UV. Maybe more on UV and it wouldn't even need re-recording imo.
  9. I know this is a tough question but if you were able to decide one unreleased song that Lana would re-record and release as a single or on her next album, which would it be? What would the cover look like? I think I'd go with Noir (especially the re-record part ) - I just love the song and the lyrics and her rage in it, with a higher quality recording and maybe a new instrumental it'd be close to perfection.
  10. My favorite songs are definitely: Florida Kilos - I knew I would love that song when I read the title, I think she only made it a bonus track because it doesn't really fit to the rest of the album. Old Money - Always loved Methamphetamines (only the song ofc) and I'm so happy she made it a "real" track. It's so beautiful, I can't Cruel World - She couldn't have chosen a better song to start off the album, it has everything. I especially love the Bourbon/Suburban part. Black Beauty - I never liked the demo but somehow I'm really digging the album version. Brooklyn Baby - Didn't really like it when I first heard it but now I think it's freaking lovely. West Coast - Same like Brooklyn Baby. I would not dare to call any song of it "bad" but if I had to skip one song it would be Guns And Roses. I know, kinda popular opinion but I just expected something more when I read the title, maybe that's just disappointment.
  11. Better than "Buy her tonight" - that's what I always heard.
  12. Oh gosh, both are awesome but the Florida Kilos one looks so real and pretty and it's fucking amazing
  13. The thing that may hold me back from going is that I'll be traveling all through America for over a month in 11 days. So next weekend is the last one at home and I'd like to say goodbye to some people. If you guys were me, would you go nevertheless? Of course it's my decision but I would love some other opinions. I can't decide but I have to soon, the ticket has to have at least some days to arrive if I go. Damn.
I'd love to meet you if I go!! And your German seems pretty good, don't worry, if it won't always work you can use English too of course. And if there is really a problem you'll have nice german Lana fans (like me if I'll be there ) around to help you out.
  16. Hard to decide since they're both so different plus I've listened to BTD like a thousand times, know all the songs by heart and to UV two times, know one song by heart. Right now it's still BTD because the songs have personal meaning to me and I'm used to it but who knows what will be in six months? I guess by then I can tell. What I can say is that I already think UV is amazing and definitely not worse than BTD, I just don't know yet if it's better.
  17. (I didn't really know where to put this topic, Lana Thoughts or Fan Art but I'll go with this, if it's wrong please tell me or put it somewhere different if possible.) > whoopsie, okay it got moved lol. Does any of you have a tattoo that's somehow Lana related or is planning to get one? If yes, which and why? Would you want one? Or do you have other tattoos? I would love to see them! I'm considering getting 'Degenerate Beauty Queen' tattooed, already made some sketches of it but I don't know yet where to put it. I have many more Lana related tattoo ideas, there are so many lines I'd love to have on me forever, just have to sketch some more. So far I've got one tattoo, 'Californication' on my neck. What about you? These are some of my Lana related ideas:
  18. Klingt super, danke!
  19. I consider going to that concert even though I'd be pretty fucked up afterwards. (Bus tickets plus ticket would make 100€ which is okay but the bus trip is long from Frankfurt, like 7 hours and I'd have to take the bus back at 11:15 PM, can't sleep over in Berlin because I get a tattoo at 11:30 AM the next day, don't want to miss that) Do you think I can catch the bus back home, even if I watch the whole concert? Is it worth all the fuss? And would anybody join me or even like pick me up from the bus station and get there early to get to the front row??
  20. Blue Jeans has a lot of meaning to me. I get sad listening to it but it's also one of my fave Lana songs ever. Her cover of Goodbye Kiss has managed to make me cry at times too. Pawn Shop Blues - 'nuff said. Chelsea Hotel - the melody and the lyrics and just everything. "That's it, I don't even think of you that often".. Pride and Gramma. Ofc Hollywood's Dead, oh my. Velvet Crowbar!! I guess these songs would make a pretty saddening playlist for me.
  21. Brite Lites (!!) Come When You Call Me (!!) Goodbye Kiss Gramma (!!) My Best Days Noir (I wish Lana would re-record it in higher quality ugh) Pawn Shop Blues Raise Me Up and OFF TO THE RACES & SUMMER OF SAM! edit: I forgot Dayglo Reflection and Methamphetamines (I don't know, there's something dark and scary and sad about the song that I really adore)
  22. So many people hating CWYCM? What?! There's nothing more relaxing than listening to it while standing at the open window at night and smoking a cigarette. I've always LOVED it. And Diet Mountain Dew, really, guys? Really? I don't like Big Bad Wolf.. the beginning makes me cringe. Maha Maha and Moi Je Joue were always weird for me too, I can't really stand them. My least favorite songs from BTD are definitely Dark Paradise and Summertime Sadness. I don't really dislike them, I just don't like them as much as the other tracks. I also prefer the Dark Paradise demo to the album version. Beautiful Player, Fake Diamonds, Hollywood, Smarty and Young And Beautiful (sorry) never really grew on me. I never skip them and I don't despite them but I would not necessarily need them on my iPod if they weren't already there..
