well it’s really hard to “mark her words” when we have a thriving ‘Lana’s lies’ thread but she has said multiple times she wants to do a digital release first and is jealous that Abel can finish a song and then release it the same day but I do think it would be hard for her since a huge chunk of her earnings is vinyl

I keep thinking about her “my next album will be a digital, mark my words” from the livestream in October. I guess it really just depends what album is next. I do think the cover album will come before LDR9? Since she started the livestream talking about it, and when she announced it in November of 2020 () she said it would be a digital Christmas gift for fans

I feel like LDR9 could go two ways honestly. Jack is going on tour next month until august so I think either their work will be done and she’ll keep working with Drew or her and Jack will continue LDR9 after Jack is done with tour in august. Rob has been in studios since November so I’m sure she’s gotten a good base of the album done. If her and Jack were reworking the bombastic songs I don’t think they’ll need a whole lot of time. Lana saying LDR9 is better than BB; and Jack talking about the bombastic songs in the same month gives me hope that they’re going to come through with a boppy album. the only thing that might take up a lot of time is how long it takes for Drew to get the music charted and recorded. But at the same time; with drew charting the music the base of the songs are done, because bringing in outside orchestras is basically last step

I absolutely don’t understand the narrative of “if you don’t like her new albums; it’s just because you don’t get it” it’s a very weak excuse. I related less to Born To Die at 17 than I do with Blue Banisters at 27. I absolutely get the feelings and emotions on the albums, there’re just not all for me.
