    But why not do it now? Kamala is currently in the branch responsible for writing and passing laws, and once (and if) she’s president she won’t be. Joe Biden has already said he’s in favor of this so why the wait? Seems to me like this is less about reproductive rights and more about manipulating people into voting for her.


    Not one person can actually do any of these big promises. With how the branches of government are yes, she could try and write into law reproductive rights, but with the current republicans in office it’s bound to fail.

    The problem is Clinton was a terrible choice to go against Trump. She was the most qualified person to run for office in YEARS but she’s been so engrained in politics that the common person sees her as the head of the government snake. 
     

    I personally feel Kamala has that Obama ‘outsider’ vibe. Yes, I know she’s VP and therefore not an outsider by any means, BUT she doesn’t feel like an insider.

    Well yes, you’re right, but it’s important to note that the rallies and door to door/phone campaigning is to get swing voters. The hard left and the hard right aren’t targets for anything because their vote has already been accounted for and secured.

    You’re right, I meant Governor. But my comment about his opponent is still very much true. Doug Mastriano was a terrible candidate and would have shot PA straight backwards

    AZ senator Mark Kelly, MN gov Tim Walz, and PA gov Josh Shapiro have been reported to be Harris’ leading choices for VP


    I think that Shapiro is too new in politics, he’s only been in office a year and an half, and he only won PA as greatly as he did because his opponent was a terrible terrible option.
     

    Pete Buttigieg’s media appearances last week on Fox really showed that he could be a really good pick. He’s very well spoken and doesn’t let someone else trying to interrupt him throw him off guard.  I also really like Mark Kelly and think he’d also be a really good pick

    It's releasing next Friday (the 8th)

     

    This is what I was saying the other day, we were told tomorrow is the soft launch, and the drop is the next friday, the insider said it was possibly a preorder but wasn't sure.I don't think there being nothing uploaded 12 days out is all that weird/a sign its all cancelled

    Well the drop is next Friday, August 8th. Tomorrow was supposed to be the ‘soft launch’

    we don’t even know if Lana is on it, she has a writers credit but he sang the song live solo at his show months ago so I really don’t think Lana is involved, I feel like he would have tagged her

    SYTH had a vinyl but I don’t think she had for a ‘lead’ single. Usually it’s just an album preorder

    I do think this is a likely scenario! Especially since it’s being ‘released’ on Friday, August 9th. It makes sense they’d want to get as high a debut as possible! Plus her vinyls always sell EXTREMELY well, so a 7” vinyl with the instrumental on side B (like Tough) makes a lot of sense! 
     

    But at the same time that logic also applies to a vinyl repress of NFR. Give it a week and a half of preorder and then ship it out on a Friday so the album sees a nice little boost.

    I just don’t see this drop being Tough related since the vinyls are being shipped out in September. If they had Tough vinyls ready to ship in August, they wouldn’t be shipping other ones out in September 
     

    Personally I think a NFR repress is most likely, since August is the 5 year anniversary of the album

    I’m trying so hard to not get hype but I do have a feeling we’re in for something big next month. 
     

    Tough was released way early due to fan demand, and since the vinyls ship September we can assume that’s closer to the original release date. 
     

    Maybe she wanted to do ‘Lead’ single August, Tough September, album October?

     

    I’m still stuck on those pictures she posted in June because they SCREAM lead single/album photoshoot and they were done with the same guy who did Tough, so the vibes are going to be similar
