It's fine as a lyric - I can't understand why people not just don't like it, but act as though it's the worst lyric ever written. But then, there are also people who analyse how good a song's lyrics are, based on how many distinct words it includes, so maybe schools just don't teach literary studies well these days.

That definition of subversionary (which is pretty much an archaic term) is completely wrong.

Subversive is different to 'rebellious', in that you're trying to change and/or bring down the system from within. 'Subversive Road' isn't a phrase at all, but that doesn't mean someone wouldn't use it for a song title.

'All You Need Is Love' has always been a political message, when applied to music. Not wanting to go to deep levels of overreaching, but there aren't any lines of the song that talk about romantic love at all.

It's there, you just have to put in some work to find it. I searched for Lana Del Rey, and under 'Artists and More' on the right side, chose her name, then scroll down to 'Songs', and change the 'Bestsellers' pull down menu option to 'Release Date', and it should be on top. ETA: Or you could just search for 'Lana Del Rey Love', which wasn't working earlier
