    Lady Gaga

I have absolutely loved this album. Not even Chromatica, which I liked, got me replaying like this. This album actually has a lot to offer, it has all the soul and meat and dynamics that Chromatica lacked. This is the vocal album by Lady Gaga; her voice is at the forefront, not only in the mix but in what this album has to give. She sounds fucking phenomenal, this is the best she's ever sounded because it's the perfect balance between all her incredible technicity and raw, emotional vocals. You can feel how much she enjoyed making this, and how it's full of different moods and emotions and how she was able to portray that. The instrumentation is rich, grand-- definitely her biggest traditional/jazz project. There are so many crazy moments. And the mixing, production? It's all so well-done. It's also very visual, I totally see this as a golden age play with lots and lots of dancers and amazing costumes. Favorite moments: The music in World on a String The entirety of That's Entertinament. Wheww I couldn't stop being amazed by this one at first listen What she did to Smile. Just wow The choir and the drums in Folie a Deux Happy Mistake bridge and overall melody THAT'S LIFE!!!!!! How fitting to close with this song... oh Gaga Not necessary to mention that she sounds astonishing in all the above songs... and there are so many others where her voice alone make a favorite for me. Close to You, If My Friends Could See Me Now... My favorite right now is That's Life. Thank you Gaga And thank you Tony.

Everybody talking about insiders this insiders that but I haven't seen one word
  4. Yeah the Honeymoon single covers were so good My favorite album cover would be Ocean Blvd... and favorite single cover overall I think Blue Jeans, or Venice Bitch (those who get it get it)
  5. Why is Shallow on that list 💀
  6. Her BEST song A contemporary psych surf folk rock masterpiece
  7. 100% I’m hopeful it will be a new classic from Lana
  8. This conversation is always so crazy bc Lana looked insanely hot last year and looks insanely hot this year too.
  9. The drama in this song
  10. https://calihomacookieco.com It's a cookie store
  11. I think I would re-categorize Off to the Races and similar songs as 'alternative hip hop', and I totally forgout about baroque -- Born to Die, Wait for Life, 13 Beaches, etc.
  12. Video Games (excellent piano ballads) Off to the Races (she sounds great over heavy beats + creative use of orchestra) Summertime Sadness (she has amazing pop-structured songs) West Coast (psychedelia) Shades of Cool (less structured and loose songs with a bit of jazz and blues) Cherry (trap made her own way) Venice Bitch (unexpected sound shift) The Grants (gospel, thoughtful, spiritual) Let the Light In (classic rock) I think this pretty much encapsules her formats

  14. But I also have to say that it's sad atp that her shows are frequently being cut short. Sad for her and for the fans. But at least it gives us such epic moments.
  15. Oh my god, I saw this show yesterday and it was SO BEAUTIFUL! Honestly one of the best from the 2023-24 tour. Her whole delivery was calm and divine, yet concentrated on directing the show due to the sound issues she was battling with. I love that she opened with Norman fucking Rockwell and Arcadia, much better than Without You; it was strong and she got to highlight her voice. The sky was to die for so it was also such a beautiful scene. I always say that she sounds incredible singing her newer songs. Chemtrails Over the Country Club was majestic and anthemic. The band sounded exceptional as usual-- Cherry, Pretty When You Cry and West Coast are incredible moments. Honestly she won the idgaf war with this particular West Coast performance She didn't sing A WORD But everything she does is so full of grace and elegance a little bit of silliness that's so uniquely her, and that's why her "festival career" didn't end like other user was arguing before. The Hope is a dangerous thing fiasco was absolutely epic, and she handled it with style and sophistication. She's a master. Also I can't believe how hypnotizingly beautiful she looks. The hair, the dress, the entire look and also the quality of the livestream-- she looked straight out of a 90s indie rock concert video.
  16. it was also her big comeback after covid, we also got Tough debut + some random intro song, Waffle House, pop ups, so many great moments with fans and of course debuts of some amazing songs like The Grants and Chemtrails
