BTD video and SS are obvious lynch inspired videos.
 
West Coast video is inspired by chet baker..Infact the enitre UV album is inspired even though she has never said anything about it.

You know good and damn well that you picked out some of her least ambiguous lyrics there. Much of what she writes does have an allegorical element to it...the other user is correct. Even those lyrics aren't meant to be taken at face value.. Much of BTD was very Lynchian in its criticism of modern American values. Inversely, Video Games shows her appreciation of the small things in life.
 
The Body Electric lyrics allude to her relationship with icons and the way in which she crafts her artistic persona. That happens to be my least favorite Lana lyric, though.

I don't know how anyone can respond to this because it's really all that needs to be said.

I've just had some really interesting thoughts about what this album could be about... All of her previous albums have been about love/a man/men, yes? Imagine Honeymoon goes the complete opposite way.
 
The UV video got me thinking - it's the last video of that era, and at the end she's left alone at the altar. Imagine the first song on the Honeymoon album, called Honeymoon - talking about a fake love, a wedding went wrong (left alone at the altar), and then a shitty Honeymoon where they "pretend" to be in love or whatever. Lana has a realization that she doesn't love him, he doesn't love her back though he pretends to (for the money/fame? leading from MPG?) and begs her to stay - however she leaves him. This leads on to the rest of the album - 
 
She has songs that talk about herself finding her 'new mindset' - one where she realises she doesn't need love, that men/love isn't everything etc. There could be one or two that talk about how she misses love/him - however the rest is about her independence, how free she feels etc. This would mean her album/image would be improved lyrically and visually. Almost every single damn one of her songs is about love - this would be really refreshing imo
 
then again it could turn back to the love topic, her singing about a perfect honeymoon etc, however I feel like the title track (if there is one?) will be focused around something like this. Though, instead of her 'breaking' his heart, hers is broken instead - and then the entire album turns into another BTD (which is what she said the album will sound like) but i hope she doesn't do that again..
 
anyways I've thought too much into it and am rambling.

Lana's switch between her falsetto to chest/head is one of the most impressive in the business. Not many girls can do it so swiftly except of the queen of vocals that is Mariah. (forgot about Ariana she too can do it and Leona but she's irrelevant)
 
Don't forget her amazing smoky low notes.
 
Someone mentioned Mildred cover of Summertime Sadness. Lord! She literally has no falsetto and all chest.   She didn't even attempt it.. all one range mess. All she did is sing in ONE range and add volume whenever needed to have more power when she should be switching to falsetto esp during the bridge of SS. Atrocious really. 

To be fair, she has addressed it in one of her recent interviews that she just vanished. The video for Ultraviolence was allegedly a big budget one that was shelved for whatever reason. There were pictures of Lana on the set, but the video never saw the light of the day. She shot this iPhone video cause there was no money left to shoot another proper one.
I don't know what her reasons were for cancelling all these promo slots. I will just leave it there cause I don't know what was going on and she never said the reasons.
 
That's all in the past. I want to leave that behind and I can understand that people are not overexcited that a new album is coming after all what went wrong in 2014. The music however has not disappointed me, which is the biggest thing she has going for her.

Yes, you're right. If it appealed to the masses, it must be better quality. Just look at Justin Bieber, One Direction, and Iggy Azalea. The Beatles could nevah.

I'm flabbergasted by the fact that some of you believe that Haynie, Heath or Nowels could have ever done this record justice. 

I hope the new album has songs on it 

Could you imagine?! The beginning and middle of the album are more lighthearted and highlight the new love she's found & the honeymoon stage of the relationship, but towards the end of the album she loses him and reminisces about their honeymoon or something.. "Even my best days without you were nothing in comparison to my worst days once I had found you."
