I just read in some music-news article that new music NOW is slowly shifting towards an " 80´s sound ". I remember the 1980s very well, and some of that music was interesting and fun to hear. Maybe Lana Del Rey will make an album in that style next (??????) I don´t know. I cannot imagine seeing Lana dressed in a DISCO dress --- What are your thoughts of a Lana 1980s sound would be like ? Maybe with a Giorgio Moroder sequencer-piano sound will make her a hit song ?

Great News ! Very cool. I wish them the best! Even tho I am a Rock-N-Roll fan, I do have in my music collection a vast amount of recordings made by Symphonies or Quartet renditions of many rock songs. Its very interersting (to me) to hear another side of the music , as if it was being played by Mozart or Beethoven

I understand what you mean, but that was back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Depending on what the artists want for their record sound , Rubin can deliver and is very knowledgeable in many types of music styles. He has produced many types of sounds, the list of albums he has worked on is HUGE. Much more than most producers. The only songs he has worked on with Lana are "Ride" and "Doing Time", which I personally like the sound quality very much. Its just an idea.

I hope not too But it would be interesting to hear a Lana Del Rey album in the style of ICE-T - Body Count - "Cop Killer" MMmmmmmm... probably a bad idea. LOL
