I am from Aveiro. The Portuguese are few but we are all over this entire world. I also agree with everyone, that seeing a concert without cellphones is a much better experience. I have seen many concerts before the portable telephones were invented. It is a much better experience and everyone talked to each other. We got to know people much better. The only thing that I use a telephone for in concerts is to take at least 10 photos to remember the show. That is what I always do when I go to concerts. I never record the show and never take more than 10 photos. Sometimes I take a mini-portable camera which I hide. That is what I usually do. But I understand her motives for not allowing cellphones to her shows. Many bands are doing that. Some people just cannot control themselves and film everything with their hands up in the air ... leaving the people behind them just looking at thousands of lite screens and not enjoying the full show! That is a No, No. I dont like to see that either.

Madonna is back at her home , here in Portugal. She is doing a few concerts. RULE Number 1 - NO Cellphones allowed at her concerts No... No...no

After listening to over 5 terabytes of music (great music I may add - Rock, Pop, Jazz, Classical, country, Blues, etc, etc.) I still can´t get into Math Rock and Death Metal. Its just too freaky and violent. I will let the arqueologists in the future try to decipher these ancient human inventions. What will they think of us "cavemen" from the 20th and 21st century? Oh WOW ! Honeymoon – Lana Del Rey Piano Cover (Horror Version) THAT Is just BEAUTIFUL. Love it to death. I am adding that song to my Lana-Collection. What a cool cover sound. I also agree Lana should try that type of melody on one of her songs.

THAT would be something special to hear. I also agree. I remember along time ago when the singer BJORK decided to include an harp into her music. Most of the fans went crazy saying that it would NEVER work and that it would sound really bad. But when they heard the final song with the harp, it was like a heavenly melody. Everyone loved it. She later would also use that instrument in her Live performances. So yeah, Lana should use more Harp and also include more violins too. Go full symphonic on some songs! Get that Beethoven and Mozart sound blasting outta of the speakers - FULL VOLUME Nº 11 ! I love to scare my neighboors with Mozart´s The Magic Flute - "Queen of the Night" aria at 03:00 !

I go to church in sneakers, jeans and a U2 concert T-Shirt. My faith is always " God also loves music too. All music". I am happy for them to go to church. That is correct ! He produced the sound for "Ride" (Paradise 2012) and also "Doin' Time" (Norman Fucking Rockwell! 2019) The sound is really extraordinairy. The listener can hear all the instruments just right, everything is in its proper space and time. Some producers volume-UP the bass or drums in hopes of getting a more Hit recording with the crowd, but sometimes the sound quality gets all muffled up..... like what a muffler does in your car, it muffles up the sound. Just a bunch of noise. As for Rick Rubin, he works in the same style as the great Quincy Jones. Jones is known as a band leader and jazz musician from way back in the 1950s , but later got into producing records. He is best known for producing Michael Jackson´s "Thriller" record. What you hear on that recording is pure audio candy. No matter what you use to play that record, weather it be a car radio, or a walkman, the listener can hear all the instruments in pristine sound. He was the one that told Michael to SHUT UP, you sing and let me do you a proper record that will sound its best. Thriller would become the biggest record ever. The same thing happens when you work with RickRuben. The sound comes out perfect. Lana should have worked with him on an entire record and not just a few songs.....Unless Rick is charging a Million Dollars a song these days (!?!?!) which I don´t think he is. I always took him for a very modest guy and also a bit strange. For a Rock lover he could jam out a pretty cool Hip-Hop beat ! LMAO Back in the 1980s you were either a rock lover or a Hip-Hop-Rap lover. If you were in between musical styles, then everyone looked at you strange. I guess people also looked at me strange because I used to mix Rock-N-Roll with Hip-Hop ! "WALK THIS WAY"

Right On Girl ! Now she has even more of my respect as a singer/songwriter + a real down to earth kinda person. That is correct. I sometimes look at an image or artwork and it will give me ideas to create something similar, but never copying the original artwork. Sometimes I create an image which I thought would be an original idea and then later find out someone else had a similar idea of it too. In this particular image I wanted to create (see image below) I wanted to use a Lana Del Rey side-profile photo with part of her upper body and use it as a "Sleeping Princess beauty" for a What-If EP single record sleeve. The idea was to also include a Maleficent witch in the background. But first I checked the web to see if someone had already come up with the same idea. And someone did also create something similar using the same Lana photo. But the overall design they used is very diferent. Since my idea was a little diferent in design, I think there is no harm doing it. So I went and did it. I would not call this plagiarism, but rather call it a similar conversion of thoughts by 2 artists which never met before but had almost the same idea. Although, if I was asked about it, I will always credit the original image posted as the idea behind my creation, because it was shown before my image was created. OK, Guys and gals, I have another idea which I would like to use, but I am not sure what YOU would think about, or if someone has already done it before. So I want to hear your opinion on this matter. I was never happy with the record cover for the album "Ultraviolence". What does the original photo mean? .... And why the bold lettering saying "Ultraviolence" ? I personally see nothing about violence in that photograph or something more of an ULTRA Violence thought crossing my mind. I always pictured this album cover showing a beautiful model (Lana Del Rey in this case) but showing some type of physical violence done to her. That would make it more logical in my mind as to the titled album , as being "ULTRA VIOLENCE". A person buying the record, would look at the photo of a beautiful woman and see her with one black eye (and probably a bandage on her forehead) and the viewer would think, "damn, that is violent. What happened to her? WHo did THAT to the poor girl". It would strike up a conversation between fans and Lana Del Rey critics. It would make people talk more about domestic violence done to women at home and why it is so wrong. Or violence done to women in general and that is so very very wrong. The image I had in mind to use is something like what I will post in this small image ... Because honestly, I was never happy with the original cover photo which was used. It simply shows a nice girl with her cool Mercedes sports car, and that to me, has nothing to do with being "Ultraviolence". It tells me as if she is some type of spoiled brat who drives a fancy car. What is so "Ultraviolence" about that? What do you think? What are your thoughts about this?

Fabulous artwork. You got style! CONGRATS! It´s not easy to draw with pen. One mistake and ... and you either work around it or scrap the whole thing. I know, I have done many artworks with pen and other media. Not easy. An artwork a day... will surely keep the doctors away !... and also make you feel healthy and more happy with yourself. If you dont want to work with a pencil or brush on any particular day, work with Photoshop ! --- Do an artwork EACH DAY of your life !
