I am also not complaining at all, just reserved with my excitement because I was disappointed with NFR and BB. COCC is cute but forgettable ecxept title track and Yosemite. I actually told myself that BB would be my make or break album. Technically it was a break album but I'm also not ready to leave this fandom because I still fully support and respect Lana. So LDR9 is gonna be critical for me. I really want to like it, I really really do my expectations are pretty high with all that teasing GOD

I think accessible means palatable in this case and I mean BTD has OTTR, Lolita etc... NFR is a lot more tame.

Oh the songs on NFR are mostly good, some very good. For me it's really the production that's throwing me off, and tbh the sudden praise by everyone who felt completely fine hating on her from 2011-15 annoyed me too. It seemed so hypocritical. So I have to admit, poor NFR partly earned my dislike because of the people who suddenly liked it/Lana, like after HM it literally became fashionable to love her until QFTC. I'd just like a lush production and some sort of cohesiveness. So excited for the tracklist reveal, the best part of a pre-realease era imo.

What is his taste though? I couldn't find anything on his twitter

I personally am not a fan of NFR but it was praised by critics and casual listeners so I hope it's not gonna be a palatable album for these groups again.

But if I wanna listen to music I don't pick Violet. It's not music, so it's not part of Lana's musical discography. I also don't count it.
