That's why I never took the qftc drama seriously (justified or not). I knew she can't be cancelled. It's also like, between albums everybody criticizes her because of whatever but as soon as she announces a new project, everybody's intrigued and wants to know exactly what she's doing again. I think the only "young" or even tumblr thing about UV are the lyrics tbh. In my opinion the UV sound could absolutely still work with newer topics and lyrics. Maybe not with chicken running barefeet but you know what I mean... I just love some electric guitar and it works so well with Lana's voice and style in general. In general, if I say I'd like her to work with Dan Auerbach again, I don't mean I want UV 2.0 or I want her to sing about being a sad girl (although she does sing "I'm a lost little girl" in Arcadia, so let's not pretend), I just think they created an absolute masterpiece together and obviously had great chemistry. I feel like people who don't always say yes make her more productive or creative or whatever. That's why I'm always praising Dan so much. I don't want them to re-create UV but I'd love it if they created something else, I'm so sure it'd be really amazing.

But remember that they also have access to Lana's phone, so they know who she is. Hence, they also must know whose laptop they have. Which is creepy because that means they kind of must have known her car or something and stalked her. Or they did not know from the beginning, but looked through the stuff and realized wtf they're holding in their hands. Or, another possibility: In the videos it sounded like the thief and the people hacking her phone were the same person(s), but maybe they actually aren't? Maybe both incidents have nothing to do with each other. I don't think so though.

Exactly! In Germany it was said that you can still get Covid but less severely and that chronically ill people and elderly people would have milder symptoms. That's why it'd help to stop hospitals from overflowing as well as important surgeries from being postponed etc., and well, it did. That's a fact. It did indeed help.

Off topic but I still wanna reply to this: I'm not a fan of BB at all but she described it as an album talking about where she's been, where she is now and where she's headed or something. So maybe that's why these songs are on there, because she wrote them 8-9 years ago and it's all coming together with her newer thoughts. BB feels like a summary of what happened so far. Which is also the reason why I'm hoping for something fresh for LDR9.

I definitely would not listen to new stuff. 2013-14? Bring it on. Her peak era concerning sound and lyrics for sure. But no new leaks for me, that's where I disagree strongly. We get these songs anyway on LDR9. Leaks and snippets take away my excitement for the upcoming album anyway.

A few months ago someone stole stuff out of Lana's car, like camcorders with private stuff on them and her 200 page book, presumably Behind The Iron Gates and her laptop. She asked us not to listen to new leaks. The book is irretrievably gone.

Totally. She'd have to be cautious all of the time. That'd be exhausting as hell. But these situations are probably even more exhausting. Idk how these things could be prohibited, or if at all. It's concerning though, especially strangers having access to her phone. A phone is so intimate in a way.

What I'm wondering is, were any of these people ever caught? Are they acting alone or is it an entire group of "professionals" everytime?

Obviously Idk for sure but Lana seems to be a little naive when it comes to protecting files and being around strangers. She's gotten into so many dangerous situations by now. It's terrible to say it but she needs to be more skeptical of people's intentions. It's really awful to write that. Thinking about her trust no one tattoo... in her case that would actually be safer.

I wish we had some kind of master-level hacker gay or girl here who could find and crush these people somehow. Ikr, while watching the videos I was thinking how tf is she so nice about it?!

I agree, i just don't like people being attacked here. We should all be thinking about the consequences of that incident and what we can improve on this forum instead of starting to blame each other and pointing fingers.

Pretty sure they're not gonna pay anything. Imagine paying a thief for your own property. But the "good" thing about blackmailing is that she is somehow in contact with these people and maybe that could make it easier to actually catch them, instead of them just disappearing with her stuff.

Lizzy era leaks are totally fine to her, she said that herself. [EDIT: Maybe I am confusing her with another artist, take this with a grain of salt!!] I also love how everybody here is extremely respectful and genuinely concerened for her yet some people enter this thread only to attack completely innocent people just because they got excited over leaks at one point. We all have. But any situation is good enough to point fingers and feel morally superior I guess.

Oh totally, just remember that recent incident with her crazy instagram stalker after attending Churchome. Good thing there was a bodyguard - but in the USA, guns are easy to get and no security guard is bullet proof. Dark thoughts but tbh all of this is insane and attacks on celebrities are happening. I kind of want her to get out of the USA too wtf.
